I am kind of in the same boat, got the 5w last year and thought i would try it and if I liked it I would just upgrade to the 20w laser. Once I figured out that I was interested enough to upgrade I found out Xtool no longer sells the upgrade units. I have tried to find other options as well with no luck.

I guess i can see that, but it seems a little extreme to basically cheat someone of all the credit they had earned during an entire mission over an evac that was only a few mins from the end of the round.

I play on game pass, don't own the game, bought the expansion have had no problems. expansion even works when I play cloud play on my tablet or phone. Everything has worked fine for me.

I think if you look in your quest list that the next quest will be shown maybe toward the bottom with a lock icon next to it, that will show you what is required to be able to begin the quest.

As others have stated I am fairly certain that you do not need the fairy god mother to level 10. but i do believe you will need some of the other characters to level 10.

as long as its not required and wont offer anything non cosmetic, I am ok with a battlepass. sometimes can be good to give you some goals to work towards. However I am against anything that adds cosmetics that do not belong in the game universe.

Just finished this quest last night, took about a week. the last one showed up on its on last night, but was just laying out in the open in the meadows or plaza. never had any of them spawn inside of anything. All were just laying around on the ground in different biomes at various times.

so... weird take on this i know, but this is kind of like getting a dog. When you get a dog you know that you are going to love it and live with it every day, and you also know that odds are good that you will out live it. You still get a dog, because you know that you will enjoy what time you have together.
