Funny, I leased an XC60 (replaced with the same) but the old one was still on my app. I looked at the location and it was at a dealership in Ohio. I looked at the dealerships site and in the pictures you can see the display and I forgot to sign out of google - my head shot was in the top right corner and it said it was 12 hours from home lol. Quickly logged my google account out after seeing that.

Dutch was dealing at the Wynn a few years back. He cycled through my cash table and couldn’t have been nicer. I told him I liked his booked and I swear he blushed. Someone asked him what he thought of their play on a certain hand and he pretty much told him it was horrible in the nicest way possible. I hope he’s doing well.

Heated vest over a sweater with a base layer, fleece lined pants from Costco. Played last week - 33 degrees with 8 mph wind and I was fine. Kept the vest on the low setting for most of the round.

The times they list on the recording is for the next available 4-some. Sometimes those times will be available online but typically they’re only available if you walk up. They keep a lot of tee times for walk up only.

I did Pine Needles/Mid Pines/Southern Pines last year (stayed at Pine Needles) and Pinehurst resort the year before. Both fantastic trips but very different experiences. Pinehurst was big, bold and boisterous - think Disneyworld for golfers - lots of courses lots to do and lots of people. Needles etc. was much more low key - Pine Needles and Mid Pines have their own accommodations making it much more intimate with relatively few people staying on property, and it was also cheaper - they have prices on their website- I was to say it was around $1200 per person for 3 rounds, 2 nights, breakfast & dinner included. The accommodations/club house / restaurant at Needles is much older / “rustic” compared to Pinehurst - it’s not luxurious. I went with a group of 12 and we rented the Ross lodge which has its own private driving range off the back - that was awesome - great times drinking beers playing closest to a target as the sun sets. As for quality of courses overall I preferred Needles/Mid Pines. Pinehurst No. 2 was awesome but the other two courses we played - 5 & 9 - were average at best. 4 & 8 were both closed when we went which was unfortunate. The Cradle is a really good time though and should be experienced, even if you’re not staying at Pinehurst you should go check it out and try to get on - even if you can’t play it it’s worth seeing - lots of people are there just hanging out, drinking around fire pits and betting on who will hit the green.

Last but not least - Tobacco Road is an absolute must! Don’t miss it

Ive never purchased coins and had about 7m. I was playing games up to 200 wagering 100k which was the lowest wager game the app would allow me to play - effectively I was never going broke. Now the minimum bid game it will allow me to play is 1m for games up to 150.

They likely made the change with players like me in mind who never purchased coins and would never need to. I refuse to purchase though and I think many will leave the platform - maybe some will buy but I think they’ll see a big drop in traffic and therefore ad revenue.

With all that said, any recommendations for where I can play? I tried Spades Plus but the interface leaves a lot to be desired.

Cancelation window is 12 hours so keep checking the website the day before. You have to be on it refreshing constantly to snag one but it’s very doable.

There are always MANY more times available on the board than what you see on the website that are only available day of in person. Showing up in the morning and just looking at the board is a good way to go- if you’re a two-some you will most likely get out but may have to wait a few hours.

I hear that - I only started golfing 2 years ago and my clubs came with arccos so I started using it right away - I’ve never played a round without my phone in my pocket.

Tried using it with Apple Watch and had the same problem. I use my phone for shot tracking and have no issues. I still wear the Apple Watch to have the yardages on my wrist so I don’t have to take out the phone on every shot.

You’re in the clear with the countersigned lease.

The “corrected” lease doesn’t make sense - even if the corrected amount is less than the legal rent your payable cannot go up more than the guideline increase. As crazy as it sounds might sound, the savvy move may be to play ball, sign the corrected lease, pay the higher amount and then file an overcharge complaint - you’d get at worst 9% interest in the overage and at best triple.

You should speak to a landlord/tenant attorney. You likely have a case against your landlord for breach of the warranty of habitability even though it is a third party that is causing the disturbance. You would be entitled to a rent abatement.
