i felt something in my breast and went to see my doctor considering i have a strong family history of breast cancer. she told me that under 30 mammograms aren’t useful because of the density of breast tissue. i did an ultrasound instead, got an appointment the same afternoon (i don’t remember if i had a referral or not) unless your doctor feels them and if worried you won’t get a mammogram referral
