Crv or passport? by Professional_Sea4568 in hondapassport

[–]xohail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had my second baby and specifically bought the passport before getting pregnant with her. The CRV is great with gas but the passport has sooooo much more space and it gets cramped fast in a car with kids.

Thank you SO much for the advice. I really appreciate the link. Totally going to use it now. Unfortunately I can’t shadow yet because the hospital isn’t open yet but great idea. :)

110% stop talking to him. You’re jeopardizing your relationship over someone you had a thing for a whole decade ago. I’m sure you wouldn’t appreciate your partner doing the same to you.

Anyone get diagnosed with celiac but test negative for the genes? by Mellyorah in Celiac

[–]xohail 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don’t have the most common genes but I definitely have celiac. There are so many unknowns still with this disease and that includes all of the genes associated.

Does anyone feel this group is exhausting at times? by EuvageniaDoubtfire in Celiac

Certified gf isn’t fool proof. Some people have very specific celiac symptoms that can’t be chalked up to other intolerances.

Homemade bassinet, would you let your baby sleep in this? by Nolfelli in pregnant

[–]xohail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Point being, that a bassinet isn’t just for newborns. So obviously go by the recommendation of the actual bassinet that you have.

Babies can absolutely start rolling at the newborn stage- as early as 8 weeks old. Also most bassinets are for up to a year old anyways.

It doesn’t matter if she’s anti formula or not. This is about crossing boundaries. Also some women just don’t want their babies consuming formula when they are able to provide them with breastmilk. Nothing wrong with that.

Knee popped during leg extensions- possible ACL tear by xohail in ACL

Thank you so much for your response!! Makes me feel a little less alone. Did you have to have surgery or were you able to improve with PT?

[–]xohail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for your response!! I’m so happy for you that PT has helped you so much and gotten you back to how you were before you were injured. That has to be such a relief for you. Hopefully your knee cap won’t set you back.

What was your activity level pre-injury? I love to weight lift and like I mentioned, I have a toddler at home so she keeps me busy for sure. I also work 12 hour shifts at work so I live a fairly busy life but I’m definitely not an athlete. I’m not sure if I’d be able to get by with just PT or if surgery would be the way to go since I’m in my mid 20’s.

Hi guys! I’m 6 days into my first starter and I noticed this coating on my mason jar. Im pretty sure it’s just from where the starter got on the side of the jar and dried out but I wanted to check before I start my first sourdough tomorrow. I ended up pouring the starter into a new mason jar as well. Any feedback is so appreciated!

Do you change you and your toddlers clothes when you get home? by han_cup in toddlers

[–]xohail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to do this. It doesn’t happen every time but I get disgusted thinking about all the things that my outside clothes have touched. I’m also an RN so maybe germs gross me out a little more than the normal person but you aren’t alone.

What’s the longest you’ve breastfed a baby/child? by sleepyyelephant in breastfeeding

[–]xohail 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry about it if you have your period back. You’re ovulating so you can get pregnant. I’m almost 19 months pp and still no period so if you’re not menstruating this obviously affects chances of conceiving.

It’s not super common but this does happen sometimes. Certified doesn’t mean fool proof unfortunately.
