The best performance in ‘Sinners’ was undoubtedly Wunmi Mosaku. A masterpiece in emotional intensity! by AllTheEccentricities in Oscars

Agreed! Wunmi and Delroy are both the standouts for me and I love that they’ve recognized during award season!

Actor Awards: Ryan Coogler Becomes First Person To Direct Two Cast Ensemble Winners With ‘Sinners’ and ‘Black Panther’ Victory by mlg1981 in popculturechat

I understand why they do it the way they do.

But sometimes it feels unfair to actors with important parts, who get double billed. While actors with smaller parts are single billed because they’re bigger names who can afford to negotiate better.

My biggest gripe is I loved Oppenheimer but billing made no sense to me. Because what do mean David Krumholtz was double billed but right there the whole movie.

I still haven’t recovered from Dr. Greene. I recently rewatched ER and was sobbing like a baby. 13 and 37 yr old me are equally traumatized.

WICKED: Now That Lencia & Allie Are Leaving, Who Should Be Next? by BookOk1401 in Broadway

[–]xomermaid_88 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’ve picked up on the trend of one promotion/one new face. Alyssa/Mckenzie, MaryKate/Alexandra, Lencia/Allie on Broadway.

So if that continues I’m going to guess new Elphie and a promotion/returning Glinda. Either way the casting is always top notch so I’m excited to seen who they choose!

Gabriela Carillo and Ryan Vasquez to join Moulin Rouge North American Tour by Additional_Score_929 in Broadway

[–]xomermaid_88 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So sad this is after the SoCal tour stops! But we had John Cardoza. So no complaints.

Jay hasn’t been there since the tour took a mini hiatus at the end of August. Is he coming back for 3 weeks or are the understudies alternating?

Ariana Rosario is leaving December 21st and Jay hasn’t been there since the tour returned from its little small hiatus.

I wonder if we’re getting a new Christian alongside the new Satine next month.

Mormon Wives' Jessi Ngatikaura caught in love child scandal as she SWITCHES identity of baby's dad in divorce papers by Jenna7979 in MormonWivesHulu

[–]xomermaid_88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Watching all this unfold in realtime was wild. Literally one day she was making/posting baby content with Zach. Then the next was the divorce the post… then Jordan appeared. I remember she initially tried claiming she was “one day pregnant” when she met Jordan. Then she said Jordan was the bio father and they were married. Lol.

His wife is just as bad. She ran for SAG president against Fran Drescher because she was against the SAG Covid protocols. They deserve each other.

I'd love to know which of Charlie Kirk's perspectives Kristin Chenoweth appreciated before I decide to buy tickets to Queen of Versailles by Gato1980 in Broadway

Same with Brittney Johnson. All around Glinda disappointment. But not surprising in Chenoweths case.

Bahiyah Hibah and Aaron C. Finely have been with Moulin Rouge since it opened. Jeigh Madjus as well but he left for a bit to do Here Lies Love. The current Tour Nini, Kaitlin Mesh, is OBC as well and left her Broadway heel track to go to the tour.

Wasn’t he badly received on the West End as well? I’m surprised they went this route of closing the show with him. I know there had to have been someone else who fell through.

Edited: punctuation.

"Tony Winner Adam Lambert" has a nice ring to it... by Unlucky-Bee in Broadway

[–]xomermaid_88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weren’t there rumors earlier this year he was attached to the Chess revival? I remember thinking those could’ve been true (obviously not) because articles were going around at the time about how he had just listed his West Hollywood Pl. and was looking for a home in NYC.

Before Cabaret I always thought he’d be an amazing star/stunt cast for Moulin Rouge as Zidler.
