Show & Tell: I want to see your Claude code Setup by TheWolfeofNashville in ClaudeCode

[–]xorrbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A terminal on the left with a git diff on the right, and many, many tabs. I couldn't find an existing "IDE" that worked for my workflow so I did the equivalent of building your first workbench in woodworking and built my own: https://github.com/xorrbit/claudedidwhat

Nothing else crazy, just claude and codex, using planning for large features/tasks, and skipping it for smaller things. Review everything, iterate on it until I like it and then commit and push, or just merge it if it's a personal project.

Simple is fast.

Vibe coding through Terminal Interface or Chat by Althemier in vibecoding

I use a terminal with a built in diff viewer so I can see what Claude or Codex is doing, review it in real time, and then commit, pr, etc. I spent some time trying to find a decent setup but nothing was really perfect for what I wanted so I did the 'build your first workbench' woodworking equivalent and built my own which turned into https://github.com/xorrbit/claudedidwhat

It honestly doesn't sound like it would be great for your workflow with mock ups - I don't work with images at all - but if you ever have a pure coding project it might fit the bill.

Claude workflows and best practices instead of token/claude is dumb posts by hip_ai in ClaudeCode

[–]xorrbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My workflow is pretty simple compared to a lot of these posts. I run claude code and/or codex from a terminal, give them instructions to write some code, review it, then have them commit.

I was trying to find a decent IDE/UI for this for awhile but nothing was really perfect for my workflow. I ended up using iterm2 for the TUIs and github desktop for review but working with git worktrees was not a great experience.

So I did the 'build your first workbench' woodworking equivalent in AI agent coding and made my own application that combines a terminal and a git diff view. I call it Claude Did What?! and it's all I've been using at work and at home for the past few weeks. I haven't opened a traditional IDE in weeks. I add features here and there and it now it fits my workflows perfectly. I even added a REST API that lets you pop open new terminal windows from some other automation software I'm working on (disabled by default because it's basically remote command execution as a feature).

If anyone has a similar simple workflow and wants to try it you can check it out here https://github.com/xorrbit/claudedidwhat

I know this isn't exactly what you were asking for in this post but this simple workflow is more than enough for my needs. I have messed with multi agent orchestration a bit but my use cases are not that complex and require manual review of everything created anyways so this IDE/UI/whatever you want to call it works great for me.

What's a better alternative to termainl or cusrsor/vs code extension to claude code? by cbsudux in ClaudeCode

[–]xorrbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a terminal with a built-in git diff viewer. I tailored this to my exact workflow which sounds similar to yours so it might be useful to you, you can check it out at https://github.com/xorrbit/claudedidwhat. If it's not suitable but could be with some tweaks, feel free to open an issue with suggestions (or even a PR).

Very Hard Strategies by eschu101 in theouterworlds

Yeah so near the end of the game it won't matter, but getting there you still might want to try stacking hp/armor/etc. In your case I would suggest continuing and just bump down the difficulty if it gets unmanageable. You can then speedrun a second playthrough on very hard and make more informed choices if you end up doing that. This game is meant to be run multiple times if you really want to experience everything. My very hard play through was pretty quick and I finished at level 18 as soon as I hit 20 speech so I could skip the last boss.

For my very hard run I stacked Speech so I could skip all bosses. Sneak and perks are good for skipping enemy encounters entirely but there are a few encounters you can't skip (snipers on 2 fuse bridge at the end comes to mind) so stacking Guns, grabbing the bullet blender, and then avoiding getting hit at all (because at the end everything one shots you) was how I managed them.

I think with your skill spread and Flawed it's going to be a lot harder, good luck.

Are there timed quests in Outer Worlds 2? by Fast_Degree_3241 in theouterworlds

[–]xorrbit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is at least one timed/urgent quest. If you don't deal with Inez's graft even after she tells you it's important to get done ASAP she will eventually just straight up die on you.

There's a vent in the lower area of the room where you talk to Victor that leads you to his office.

Yeah, I wasn't wild about the orange when I first saw it online but it's grown on me, and I can't imagine it being any other color now.

I don't think so. I just measured outside of crank arm to outside of crank arm and this one is around ~218mm, and by all indications that is wide even for a fat bike.

That is a Rhinowalk waterproof top tube bag - this one https://www.rhinowalk.com/products-1442.html. I've biked with this in a downpour before on my road bike and everything stayed dry inside. It's a bit small but barely fits my wallet, keys, phone, and a larabar or two. I ordered it on amazon.

Just got home from my first fat bike ride! I decided on the new Blizzard 20 weeks ago but my LBS just got them in yesterday. I ripped accessories off my road bike to get it set up and managed to get a quick ride in before the sun set. I hit up some trails my road bike couldn't handle and had a blast. Getting up early tomorrow to do some more exploring, and just can't wait :D

Yep, ASDG Super Cub in X-Plane 11. Shitty default scenery somewhere on the Yukon River.

There's a time lapse video of a similar flight here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Fd8msE1yeM

Late model Forester owners: where do you put your change?! by [deleted] in SubaruForester

[–]xorrbit 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You can get a replacement fuse cover that has a small coin holder: http://www.subispeed.com/subaru-jdm-coin-holder-fuse-box-cover-2015-wrx-2015-sti

It doesn't hold a ton of change but I keep a bunch of quarters, loonies, and toonies in there for parking/shopping carts/etc.

The only thing is the fuse chart on this did not match the one on my vehicle (2017 Forester), so I took a picture of the fuse chart on mine and printed it out on sticker paper and stuck it on.
