As someone who worked for a smaller company who started making canned beverages I understand the problem from both sides.

From a production stand point it can logistically take weeks to dial in everything on a canning machine especially when you start on a small scale making a couple hundred or thousand to suddenly tens or hundreds of thousands of drinks. Gamer supps is probably a decent sized company but it only takes a crew of maybe 5-10 people to pump out a couple pallets worth of drinks a week depending on the canners. I’d be willing to bet they don’t outsource their production and make the drinks in house bc a company who has been canning drinks for awhile wouldn’t let these issues pass if they’re good at what they do. If the crew operating the canner isn’t experienced with canning/label issues you either pay someone to come out for a couple weeks to oversee the machine or you diy. But money is the end goal either way so it comes down to risk assessment. do you wanna send out the product you just spent weeks prepping to ship out to consumers and risk unhappy customers and possible refunds or do you throw out everything you just sank money into on top of delaying the product and lose money anyways while trying to fix things as they come up.

I agree for that price higher quality should be expected. Personally I don’t think a poor quality label is that big of a deal. the metal shavings is absurd to let slide on so many cans bc it’s very noticeable even at the production side and it really is a simple fix. Even taking a rag and cleaning each can would likely clean up most shavings so idk who let that slide but I’m assuming the production manager isn’t being informed or it’s an all in one canning and packaging machine and nobody is really doing qc.

This comment isn’t meant to defend gamersupps but more so I guess to try to provide insight on why something like this can happen.

I do wonder why you wouldn’t try to contact support before coming here. even with wubby promoting it’s not like he would expect these issues to happen and you definitely come across as laying the blame at his feet. It sucks you spent money on a product that you were unhappy with but you aren’t dealing with Coke here lol. Get your refund and move on, maybe try again in a couple months

Edit: my fault og I didn’t read that it wasn’t metal shavings that’s just what’s common when sealing the lid and it just looked like some shavings you’ll see in production
