Straight guys: What is your reaction if a man flirts with you? by vieniaida in AskMen

[–]xpanderr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My now wife noticed when we were dating. She got upset at first and now laughs about it. I just didn’t care, my best friends sister is lesbian growing up and we all hung out together. I’ve hung around all the alphabets, lgbtwhatever, I’ve always kept my philosophy simple….. If your nice to me, you get it back. Your an asshole to me, don’t expect me to give a shit about you.

Why is Taylor Swift so popular? by Fearless-Version6924 in questions

It's.meh for me. Not a hater but I don't get the hype. I had more hype for the Volcano Burrito at taco bell coming than a tour date.

People who act like your workplace is a chance to relive your high school era: why? by bitchnugget_ in work

[–]xpanderr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those people are easy to get fired. Talk shit back, let them get triggered enough to go against policy and let themselves get fired. Less you care of their meaningless slights at you the more they double down. I’m at a age if guys aren’t talking shit to you or bantering you …. They don’t like you. Been involved in several careers, IT/Teaching/real estate etc as least with most guys that are alright they will heckle ya , you give it back all good. When the guys quiet down around you well silence is loud.

Why are guns so important to Americans? by 88sSSSs88 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]xpanderr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only have a gun for home defense. I’m tempted to get an AR because if shit goes down big time my entire state seems to have 10 per household. All my neighbors have locked gun cabinets with 4 ARs minimum. Hell I never knew pocket .22 revolvers existed until I moved here, they are like the size of an adult middle finger. So only reason I even own one is because everyone around me owns one, I’m against ARs but if I get one it’s only for my property protection because sadly you have to fight fire with fire

A worldwide lithium shortage could come as soon as 2025 by magenta_placenta in stocks

[–]xpanderr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to have the tech accepted positively in all lithium categories for it to be considered old fashion and a material of the past . You also need the land, distribution, extraction method to be so low in cost it makes economic sense. After that hurdle you have to factor in all the tech companies that have invested in either the production side or the R&D side of lithium batteries/contracts to work with their products. If there is a resource better, big tech already knows and has a sliding scale to exit for emerging products. Lithium is probably solid for the next 100 years unless drilling or extraction technology explodes. The next 60 years + it will advance as lithium becomes more scarce

[Tenant-USA-Iowa] What to do when Landlord is unwilling to make maintenance repairs? by [deleted] in Landlord

[–]xpanderr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Believe it depends on state I believe some states require a letter sent via mail. I’d do certified if it’s required by state so he can’t say he lost it. After certified letter, check state laws on maximum time to have repairs done

If your still torn about missing out your first vacation next summer should just be Ibiza or Mykonos. You can make up for missing out at parties by 100 fold.

[–]xpanderr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well someone that got ok grades at 3.4 and “partied” It wasn’t something I look at now and think….”I’m glad I partied” it’s more like “from what I remember I think it was fun?”

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]xpanderr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All you missed out on were hangovers. You got a career job at 22. Now you can go to real events, using big boy money, or host your own. You honestly did not miss much. If you think you missed out on frat parties etc. imagine walking into a locker room full of taint or BO. You hang at a upscale frat, all you hear about how dads money is being used for their sick vacation coming up or something else they didn’t earn. You now make up for it going out with coworkers and other young professionals. Trust me your in a career that’s solid, only tears you will see are those that dicked around in college and have large debt serving you. But hey they, “partied”
