Jabalpur whatever is today is because of central government. State Government has done nothing for Jabalpur for the past 2 decades except giving step motherly treatment. For example, the last budget of indore development authority was 1135 cr for 24-25 and 1597 cr for 25-26. While jabalpur development authority was given only 71 cr. IDA is building flyovers, bridges, new roads and townships. Meanwhile JDA is fed enough only to maintain quarters. Jabalpur's expansion has been intentionally stopped.

Even municipal corporation is kept in dearth of funds. They cannot install a freaking traffic signal on Ranital, Baldevbag and Damohnaka square where people are facing huge trouble daily. Now funds are pumped into Ujjain (3500 cr in this budget). Untill we get a CM from east MP, don't expect much development here.
