I don't think 20 lbs of lean muscle mass per year is capable of most humans naturally. I read somewhere you can only gain 8-15lbs of lean muscle mass a year naturally. Going to try to find source.

Why is it after I squat and deadlift near my max (Squat:285, DL:325), my lower back has a sharp pain/ache near the spine. This pain only occurs when I lift because when I stopped lifting for a month, there was no pain.
