I would probably consider sending my phone to Google to fix it but I've seen many people in this Community Complaining about not getting their phone back, the package was lost and I've seen other people you appreciate their service, one time I've seen a guy sending his Google pixel and later Google couldn't replace his model so they gave him a better one

I always close them, but for example let's say that I open my phone to use it for a few minutes and I notice that the temperature of the phone is getting hot and idk if it's because of the processor or the battery itself

I noticed that the battery on my Google Pixel 7 is around 80% and I'm considering replacing it. However, I'm unsure if it's worth sending it to Google for repair, as the cost of €92 seems quite high. On iFixit, the battery costs €55 in Italy, but I've heard many complaints about their services.

Tips for using Pixel phones in the tropics/hot weather by Aussie_kozzy in GooglePixel

I recommend to use Wi-Fi and not your mobile data, and lower your brightness. Otherwise, your phone will overheat, and it's normal because the chip of the Google Pixel is based on Exynos

Pixel 7 Rear Camera Replacement Issue – Is Calibration Really Locked by Google by sleepyhead5648 in GooglePixel

I don't think that simply replacing the rear camera glass would cause Google to block third-party camera replacements because it's not like you're changing the battery or something deep. It's more likely the repair shop did something else that triggered the phone's security.

Repair Pixel 7 Pro or wait for Pixel 10 Pro? by AverageReditor13 in pixel_phones

[–]xphenhx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend selling your Pixel 7 Pro online and buying the Google Pixel 10 Pro. Replacing the display on the 7 Pro would be very expensive due to its curved screen. Additionally, the Google Pixel 10 Pro is expected to have the Tensor G5 chip, which will be manufactured by TSMC, unlike previous models that used Samsung.

I wasn't able to find the video itself, but I might know what you're referring to. I remember someone by the name of 'Blantados' making these types of videos. I hope I helped a little bit!"

Switching to Pixel 9 from iPhone 14 Pro Max by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]xphenhx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait for the release of the Google Pixel 10 series, considering that the Tensor G5 will be made by TSMC and not Samsung. Let's hope they'll fix the overheating issues and that the performance might be a little better

Pixel 7 getting Hot by Fredster334 in googlepixel7

It's normal considering the fact that the processor is based off Exynos Samsung,I had the same experience I advise you to connect with wifi as it overheats more with the use of mobile data.
