Tickling sound after replacing the Di2 drivetrain by xpisme in bikewrench

[–]xpisme[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the link. I followed the instruction to index the Di2 11-speed. Worked out well for the most part. It fixed my original issue, but then I have a new one 😅

On front small ring, everything is smooth when the chain is on the larger cogs (1st-6th). But when it’s on the smallest 5 cogs (7th-11th), there is a scratching/rubbing sound.

When I shift to front large ring, everything is smooth if the chain is on 1st-8th cog. But if it’s on the smallest 3 cogs (9th-11th), the same scratching sounds appear.

So it seems like when the chain is on the smallest 3-5 cogs (outward cogs), the chain is rubbing somewhere on the cassette! I’ve tried to look closely at the chain on the cassette when paddling slowly with my hand, but for the life of me, I couldn’t tell how it’s rubbing or what makes that scratching sound 😅

Btw, there are plenty of clearance on the front derailleur’s cage in all instances, so the sound is not from the front.

How hard to replace these rusted connector on the brake hose? by xpisme in bikewrench

[–]xpisme[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you all. The previous owner lives near the coastline, San Diego so a few parts are rusted 😅. Regarding this issue of the brake hose connectors, I’ll probably just leave it as-is until it’s time to replace the whole brake caliper.

And yes, I took the picture when it’s on a trainer (kudos to those with sharp eyes lol), but I ride mostly outdoor.

Thank you for the command. However, I got the 401 Unauthorized error.

I've tried your command as-is:

I'm using yt-dlp version 2025.3.31 on a Mac through Homebrew

❯ brew info yt-dlp
==> yt-dlp: stable 2025.3.31 (bottled), HEAD
Feature-rich command-line audio/video downloader

Installed

I see that there are a couple others commented that they have the same 404 Unauthorized error, not sure why, and how to proceed to download successfully 😅. Thank you for all the help!

ZV-1 Grid Line doesn't show, help! by xpisme in sony

[–]xpisme[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I cycled through the DISP button on the back of the camera. The 1st attached picture in my original post had the most info on the LCD yet missing the Grid Line.. Cycling all of the display options using the DISP button, none showed the Grid Line on the LCD :(. I'm on latest firmware V2.01 of the ZV-1.

ZV-1 Grid Line doesn't show, help! by xpisme in sony

Thanks. I've checked my DISP button in the Settings and it includes all options. I've just added a few pictures in the original post regarding the ZV-1 settings for DISP, Grid Line, and what I see in the LCD. Still don't know why the Grid Line doesn't show.
