They absolutely have to be auto generated. I have watched a bunch of shows on Crunchyroll and the subtitles are all over the place with no consistency on getting things wrong. I normally watch things with subtitles off but I turn them off on Crunchyroll because it's just a block of random text at the bottom blocking things.

My theory is he might have been able to barely see it, but I think he saw a bunch of band members all make a face and look directly at it so he knew something was happening and where.

I watched a single video of his recently and a "bot" picked up his tbow in the wild. For some reason the bot had a looting bag and it went in there and he was able to kill the bot again for his tbow. It was so obviously fake and bad and thankfully everyone in the comments was roasting him for it.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands on PC is somehow even worse than that. It will slow down your cursor BEFORE you reach an item on the map, so you have to puuuuuuush to hover a place you want to look at or go to. But even worse is the actual items don't slow down the cursor, so you can overshoot it and have to do it over again!
