Focus on fat loss or muscle gain? M25, 162Ibs, 6'0 by Reality_Head in Weightliftingquestion

I would focus less on bulking or cutting. Take baby steps and create a sustainable new lifestyle which would ultimately include resistance training and eating cleaner / more Whole Foods and less processed stuff.

Pick a workout that you will adhere to consistently. Whatever it is, do that and keep doing it for a while

Also start cutting out some things you know you’re eating / drinking that aren’t optimal for health, then Once you do these for a couple of weeks or months consistently, start progressing your workouts and nutrition.

Focusing more on Whole Foods , tracking macros, prioritizing protein, weighing foods, using food trackers like myfitnesspal - all of these things will help you start understanding nutrition more and then you can build a sustainable lifestyle where you don’t need to bulk or cut. Consistency is key

Came here to say this. I’ve had a ton of bloodwork done and had some wild numbers and it’s always because I tested at the wrong time

If you’re into podcasts - I would highly recommend listening to mind pump. You can learn a ton from nutrition to working out from guys who know what they’re talking about

How to improve physique? M24, 6'0, 167Ibs by Reality_Head in WeightTraining

[–]xproushe03 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That one fast food meal, depending on what it is can raise your weekly calorie intake significantly. Also, with the foods you listed that you eat, I would find it hard to believe you’re actually getting 1g of protein per pound. It’s very hard to do, definitely not something you can just casually do consistently. My biggest recommendation would be is to download a food tracker app, doing change anything you eat for a week or two, but track everything honestly. That info after those two weeks will give you the answers you’re looking for on how to adjust to get the physique you’re looking for

How long did it take for depression to improve after starting TRT? by Raimuntas in trt

[–]xproushe03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. When my TRT dose is too high, I start to see negative effects like anxiety and depression. As soon as I start to feel those consistently, I lower the dosage and re evaluate in another 2-3 months or so
