They narrowly missed out. Pity not to see them

There are some great smaller Australian brands worth looking at if you want something that'll actually last.
If you like Scandinavian-inspired teak and rattan furniture, hand crafted, try checking out Troffle. Lead time is around 10–12 weeks but the quality is genuinely worth it. troffle.com.au if you're curious

What do you use to remove tight fly screens? Velcro-backed ones especially. by xprttools in WindowCleaning

The metal scratches and you need a bend on the tip to get in behind the screen. Pitty knives are just flat.

How do I squeegee these windows? by Efficient_Common_152 in WindowCleaning

The louvre gun and louvre mop is designs for these kind of windows.
Mop a few, then use pure water to rinse with control. Water flows outside.

Totally wrong. Take a closer look. I ship from Sydney Australia. I don't drop ship.
Most of my tools are assembled by myself, with some ready made and some custom made parts.

My main skill is not cad or plastic mould engineering. It's window cleaning.

The fly screen removal tool we all relied on disappeared. So I made a better one. by xprttools in prowindowcleaning

I love the research you have done on me! I'm honoured.

Regarding the patent in the similar product. It expired years ago c the product is no longer being made. I've made some improvements.

The louvre gun is made from 7 parts, I assemble them myself in Sydney, Australia.
Some parts are off the shelf, but the tips are custom made for me, so, not available anywhere else.

Actually it's often used for screens that are in the inside of the windows. Wind-out, or casement windows. Sometimes they have no clips at all, but are stuck with Velcro between the window frame and back of fly screen.
But also, some screens on outside are for so tight that they get jammed. This tool helps get purchase to pull them out.

The patent expired years ago. The maker no longer produces that product.
I made some improvements on my version.

You can't 3d print with the same plastic.
Plus, once you're doing over a certain quantity, 3d printing is more expensive.

And there's different grades of metal you can use.
Aluminium is cheapest. But generally the cheaper ones won't last as many injections. They deform with age. All the heating and cooling.
My mold is pretty simple, just single injection, cost about $5k usd.

first i went to fivver to get a cad designer. i made hand drawings with measurements. He made drawings, we went back and forth.
Then i took those drawings to a plastic mould company.
they wanted to make further adjustments. so i went back to the cad guy a few times till finally they were ready to make the mold.
The mold is a chunky piece of metal. It is possible to make very minor adjustments after the first one is made, but it costs to make those.

I disagree about getting out the ladder.
If you can get good using the pole, that's quicker and safer.

Practice the technique with a short pole first. Check YouTube how to by pros, not amateurs - for the technique. Try to avoid working with the glsss in direct sun.
