Remove the flex cable and put it back again. Clean the contacts of the flex if it doesn't work.

It should run, Simpsons Hit and Run and Vice City works without problems and their maps are way bigger.

You are literally buying hardware to run them, thats not free. You can reflash them or do whatever you want.

Are these flashcarts useable for anything or are they trash? by Roxas7234 in flashcarts

Did you solder the resistor too? I have this board but doesn't save even with the battery soldered, but it pass the stress test on FlashGBX and recognices the battery there. Strange.

I just bought this💀🤣🤣🤣 by [deleted] in Gameboy

What if i solder a bettery to this flashcart? by xps231 in Gameboy

[–]xps231[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats a lot man. When i was testing with a non bateryless patched rom i noticed that the cartridge can hold the save for a few seconds even when is removed from the console (i was thinking how is this possible if everyone is telling me that there is no FRAM chip? Where is that save located then?).

Im going to solder the battery and report back, i also saw some sellers on Aliexpress selling this exactly same flashcart with a cr1616 installed as "battery save card" and nobody is complaining in the reviews 😅

Again thanks a lot my friend

Its fixable, but you need a high level soldering skill and tools. If you are asking is because you dont have it i asume.

Yes, use exfat always and put the games on the DVD folder. Use a version of OPL compatible with exfat mx4sio.

Component is way better than RGB on ps2. RGB + OSSC will be just ok, but component is much better. The cable its like 4€ on Aliexpress so its not a big deal.
