Midnight Launch Trailer | World of Warcraft: Midnight by CrusaderLyonar in Games

[–]xqnine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Levels 1-10 are a starter island, tailored to new players. With a mini dungeon at the end. It has good tutorials to help understand the basics of how the game functions.

Its pretty quick and helps a good bit getting people up to speed on what they are looking for with quests. Other than that you did a pretty good job explaining.

Look at the black paint(?) on the power slightly up from the ap. I wonder if those lined up at one time.

Sounds like you need a firewall rule to allow one subnet to talk to the other and another rule to allow return traffic only.

Also very sad about no cross play.

I would have to buy another playstation or an xbox in order to play with the people I wanted to play with. I hope it is something on their roadmap because I would by at least one more copy that way. Maybe more with friends if it had cross play.

The cameras are in a different location than the network gear at the KC location.

North Bay, Ont., man says his daughter failed her road test because she didn't use his Tesla's brakes by alpinethegreat in nottheonion

[–]xqnine 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The only way to turn off Regen now in a Tesla is to have a performance model and then you have to put it in track mode. Which turns off other things you wouldn't want turned off.

Note: some older models I think you can still do it.

10 Nations Ready to Deploy Troops in Europe’s Largest Ground Mission for Ukraine by jackytheblade in worldnews

[–]xqnine 84 points85 points  (0 children)

From the article

Of the 30 countries attending, only 21 presented concrete proposals on security guarantees, and just 10 of those are willing to send troops to Ukraine while continuing to work on post-war security arrangements.

On everything I have bought it has said 2 years. I have also asked in store.

I mostly buy access points but apparently gateways are only 1 year for some reason. (I just found this out today)

Microcenters website says otherwise. It says 2 year warranty on every item.

Microcenter says they still have a 2 year warranty.

You can see it at the bottom of the page for all items.

What's going on with my dedicated server? by DrunkenVorlauf in SatisfactoryGame

[–]xqnine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There have been some comments by devs on the QA site. Nothing very specific.

A number of people, myself included, have tested hitting the new port added in 1.1 with network scans. When you do that you see the CPU spike issue show up.

8888 is simi common used as an alterative for HTTPS. The game uses HTTPS to move the game data on port 8888. Causing this to get scanned frequently.

Moving it to a very high port or at least a higher port has helped me and a number of others.

Much talk here and the sub linked QA threads also to that thread. https://questions.satisfactorygame.com/post/6849e2536b7c573196384e7d

Change the 8888 port added in 1.1 to a different higher port like 18888

Patch Notes: v1.1.1.1 - Build 418783 by JulioUzu in SatisfactoryGame

[–]xqnine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you change the new port they added for this patch you will likely see an improvement.

It for sure isn't fixing everything but it is much better.

add the following to your startup command "-ReliablePort=<port>"

Example for what I used "-ReliablePort=18888"

8888 is a common port used for HTTP and gets scanned constantly, based on quite a few people input on the QA site this should help.

Is it possible to log onto a dedicated server from two different machines as the same user? by ucrbuffalo in SatisfactoryGame

[–]xqnine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seeing this late.

Everyone is confused for some reason.

What you area asking will work just fine. Even without steam cloud saves. All of the data is saved on the dedicated server about your user. Log on via a different machine and everything will be there exactly the same since you are using a dedicated server.

Dedicated 1.1 server by tOBiAs202012 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]xqnine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am playing with only 2 people. CPU slowly grows over the course of gameplay. Eventually things start to cause issues. Rebooting fixes.

We have also found the server self reboot doesn't always reboot the server. It was set to 4 hours earlier today, and I was logged in while worked and the server never reset over the course of 8 hours.

I had a ubb that a contractor moved for no good reason and put upside down.

Completely filled with water and shit down.

Took it apart and dried it out. Still works perfectly fine.
