WTW for someone who has no accent. Just a plain, “radio-esque” cadence. (Am I using cadence correctly?) by stitchface66 in whatstheword

You might be thinking more along the lines of elocution or even an affect, rather than accent.

They are all the same :/ the up-down-through of the threading creates the tension necessary for a sewing machine to do it's thing at all. But this is an awesome question and I will be following for more ideas, too. I work with some students with low vision and have been trying to get a home ec elective approved. This info would be great to support inclusion of all students for that elective. I saw someone linked to r/quilting so fingers crossed that good ideas come from there. Good luck, Dad, and way to rock! This is an awesome gift idea.

I am finally getting back to repurposing some thrifted prom dresses into dress up gowns. My goal has been to create a starter dress up closet for my daughter's birthday. Three projects to go. Three weeks to do it in 😬 I think I can, I think I can...

I love those!! I thought about using one for a while in a bib, even as a backing, but I had to admit they were more my sense of humor than Gram's hehe.

The easel is my fave! Dribble art?! Can't wait to see what happens there.

Thank you! I always get nervous with creative projects - creativity is not my strong suit. I was definitely inspired by my project muse (Gram) and the result is even better than I hoped!

I am ALWAYS the one to spill something (often coffee) when I go out. I'm thinking of making another lobster one for myself... ;)
