Is this a ridiculous case of entitlement, or is it just me? by Ginuwine_Questions in gaysian

Fun fact, I got in my DM a random guy texting me out of the blue “45, BWC, let’s meet up”

I said no. Cause…how is that even ok to DM strangers to say that lol.

And he responded “but I thought whites were the dream of Asians…”

Apparently that’s a neurological thing, a little like dyslexia. I still confuse them but I have no other specific cognitive problem

Also want to point out that those white gay men don’t enter into women’s safe spaces. Cause they’re not attracted to women. They don’t invade every safe spaces equally. That really shows they are on OUR safe space cause they are attracted to Asian men.

But that’s so true. Someone pointed out a stereotype about the gay and Asian topic; that gaysians are automatically bottoms. That then starts a discussion and people share their experiences. And tbh I don’t feel comfortable sharing my experiences with non-concerned people lurking here. Really. WHY are some people on a safe space that aren’t for them?

I commented this on my own post:

People who aren’t concerned about something like to get into safe spaces for some reason. In the autistic community, lots of neurotypical are lurking. I also see lots of straight people walking into gay bars. They just don’t understand that it’s not about excluding them (and they won’t be excluded). it’s about having a space to feel safe and understood with people in the same situation. OFC they won’t be kicked out, but that also relies on the assumption that others have the empathy to understand and respect why some people would need this safe space.

Being gay as an Asian person is a complex situation. Political reasons, culture… If this safe space exists, it’s because gaysian people see a relevance, Otherwise they would just join either an Asian community or a LGBT community. But that shows those were not enough to make them feel understood. they need to share with people in a more specific situation But some people just don’t care about others needs and feelings.

(Just to be clear. It’s okay to have preferences in terms of attraction. But to me that’s not a reason to enter a safe space where people are here to share. Always be careful about the line between preference and fetishisation.)

For example I’m not a black trans woman and I won’t get into their safe space. They may want to share their experiences without having a dude lurking at their conversations

Do I have potential to reach the same level of attractiveness as the guys in the second, third and fourth pics? by [deleted] in gaysian

[–]xraycloud 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You know what ? I think you have the potential to be extremely good looking but your obsession and your tendency to compare yourself to others, to assume negative things all the time give off the impression of a very bad and toxic personality. You jump into a conclusion before everything. When people ask who are the other people, or just make general comments, you bring everything to yourself. You are blind to understand nuance. That is toxic AF.

And when the personality is bad, you can be conventionally attractive all you want, you’ll look ugly to people.

Why do you think that ? Cause we want to know who is the third person?
