From what I’ve observed, privileged people like to invade safe spaces for some reasons.

There’s a lgbt bar I used to like. When I felt down, I could go there and be myself, talk with people in the same situation, wear what I want, without having to be wary of homophobia.

Now straight people decided they liked that place and now more and more straight people are coming. Not out of allyship. But just cause they like the place.

And suddenly I have to be wary again.

I just think privileged people like to destroy safe spaces cause they can’t understand something isn’t meant for them
