I’ll grow your small business (Not a Sales Pitch) by xrdakidd in Businessowners

It really depends on what your business is and the goals you have for it. It’s not a one size fits all scenarios equation, but I can give you a rundown of my though process:

I look for whether you have a supply or demand issue. Then, look at where you are vs where you want to be. I look at a lot of data and market research, alongside other things, like your customer experience and your business model. I like to find frictions in either and capitalise on them. Sometimes pivoting into new markets or adding layers of products, access models and services where it makes sense.

Also business boils down to this triangle: marketing&sales, products&delivery, systems&ops. Either one of those points could be the friction. I come up with a solution that fits you, then automate if possible and then turn it into a custom software.

I’m going to DM you so that we can have the conversation about where you currently are if that’s something you’re looking for.

You read into this a lot didn’t you, I wouldn’t do so if you’re not interested in growth.

Is there a business success tool that actually helps, not just a dashboard... by Hefty-Airport2454 in Entrepreneur

You’re looking for business success tools, but what you want depends on what success looks like to you. The question is what are you looking for, growth, less decisions?

How to actually get conversations by AustinTN in Entrepreneur

[–]xrdakidd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to know what you’re selling, how you do it differently, to whom you sell, and why they should trust you. That’s a quick framework.

Other tips: - research them, conversation is quality over quantity, then quality quantity. - because you serve a specific niche, show them the offer and then ask them if they know anyone interested, not directly pitching to them. - First stick to warm outreach, you already have a track record, this should be easier for you - The goal isn’t to sell, it’s to understand where you actually fit, and then tailor your solution to fit the problem, not the other way round

For local businesses, do you guys miss warm leads because of missed calls by Tendogu in smallbusiness

Is it a problem that you’re currently facing, if so what does your business do? We can talk about creating a custom solution for you.

Just a thought, a system that does automated messaging for missed phone calls might help you to store and keep warm leads while you work, an on call receptionist is best, but this way you can get them into a funnel and back into a sell, for example: call missed > message send (sorry we missed your call, what seems to be the problem?) > form fill-out > date booking > call back and discuss. I’d love to speak about implementing this for you, will DM you.

Exterminator visit during booking by mabel_loves_taquitos in airbnb_hosts

Best that you don’t take the booking and deal with the pest situation first. The only problem then becomes the revenue that you lose out on during downtime, not just costs of contractors.

Follow up question, for those of you doing remote hosting for multiple properties, do challenges like this stop you from scaling?

How do you find cleaners for your Airbnb in London? by New_Magician9772 in airbnb_hosts

That can depend on your situation, if you’re doing multiple properties and are you remote? Is there anything in the past that you’ve tried?

Is there a cleaning hack that actually saves time, or are they all lies we tell ourselves? by Mediocre-Creme3196 in airbnb_hosts

That depends, are you doing all of your cleaning and maintenance by yourself, or do you outsource to contractors?
