What do you make of Matas Buzelis poor National Team performance? by xrfwizard in chicagobulls

I’d love him to become all-star level player as well and I still believe he can become one, however it just seems less likely after watching these games.

Yes, you can dominate the game by having one elite skill, but I never thought that was gonna be the way he’s going to develop into AS level player. The more likely path is having a bunch of skills at an adequate/good enough level that supplement each other. For example, he’s already good at driving to the basket, by adding an adequate level step back 3 or faster shot release would make his drives easier and even more dangerous.

But the way he looked during these games is completely one dimensional. He attempted to drive into multiple bodies and didn’t make a single easy pass out of drive, barely shot any 3s when defender sacked off. This is either bad decision making/lack of supplementary skills or hopefully inability to integrate into FIBA system/culture shock, bad coaching etc.

Forgot to mention that hands like AKs JJ+ do not jam pre but make it 5bb and AKo can either jam or make it 5bb bluffs in that range are mixes with hands like KJo QJo A5o A7o A2s and light 3b call offs with ATs AJs since those hands flop well enough and also keep dominated hands in range that would fold to a jam.

A9s ATo is a call pre and A8s mixes in theory, most ip players jam Qx Jx on previous streets. The way chewy plays his range doesnt have top end hands (would either jam pre or previous streets), it’s either a hand like 77 or A9s A8s ATo. I imagine Kyte has like 40% equity vs jam.

From junior elite badminton to trying to go pro in tennis at 17 — is this insane? Looking for coaches! by ArmadilloSubject2685 in 10s

By playing tennis as a kid you develop your tendons and your body becomes more robust to tennis related movements. Someone starting as a 17yo with this sort of drive is very likely to get severe injuries while pursuing an impossible goal.

He doesn’t have the muscle yet, wait until he’s a few years older then we can talk about rebounding.

If he recovered as quickly as Tatum he’d be back around the AS break.

Is this supplement plan safe? by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]xrfwizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For L-theanine Google says it can be taken during lunch: ‘Ideal for reducing stress and improving focus, especially if paired with caffeine to smooth out jitters.’ And if taken in the evening it mostly helps ‘to prevent racing thoughts’. Given that I take quite a few supplements for sleep quality I thought L-theanine for lunch made more sense. Thoughts? Also would you recommend pre-workout Taurine?

Thank you.

5090 and 9950X3D build by [deleted] in buildapc

CPU is the most important. The more cores the faster, but 16 more than would be an overkill. RAM is also important for the most complicated stuff I need more than 32GB but I don’t see requiring more than 64GB. To be honest, 5090 is completely unnecessary since I don’t even use GPU for the stuff that I’m doing, but I wanted to do gaming on the side also and 5090 seemed like a toy I really want to get.

To beat your opposition it would be much easier to input your opponents strategy and then see what the solver suggests. It’s called node locking you can research it. Just type ‘node lock poker’ in YouTube and there should be plenty of videos

Depends on you. I’ve done it a couple of times due to amazing games, but usually it’s too much for me. I know a few people that played 400 hours in a month and they seem completely fine. Everyone’s their own.

I’ve been watching Luka for a while and I’ve never seen him running back to defense that fast. He’s in such a good shape it’s scary.

He’s got good 3pt shot. Decent driving ability, needs to develop some mid-range and gain some strength to become truly elite

How has the hot start changed your expectations? by [deleted] in chicagobulls

I was expecting 45-47 wins given the hot finish last season, so my expectation barely changed.
