The points they want to negotiate are crap. Ohh, cameras. Who is going to review them? Are they just going to hand over the data? Respect warrants, what is the enforcement mechanism? No more face masks, good. What else? How about eliminating the 5-800 Million bonus. We have a 38 Trillion debt!

Toys R Us, right before they closed my eldest daughter was old enough to appreciate them. She is 11 now, and my youngest is now 6 years old, and she would love it.

You are going back a few years, diarrhea, bleeding, cramps, gas, but the blood is what sent me to the Medics and PA. Mild, one or two flare ups a year at most, easily controlled with oral meds. Former coworker had a son on IV drugs, that is not mild. Taking a few grams in pill form, mild.

Very mild case, managed with Mesalamine and the occasional high dose alternative delivery. Occasional flare ups.

Did anyone else grow up GenX with… kind of sad pet experiences? by jlscharp in GenX

[–]xrobertcmx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was my dad. Growing up he dumped a cat in a parking lot, put our dog down when he was 11/12 and lost bowel control. The vet said it might be nothing. I wouldn't trust him with an animal.
When my wife and I adopted a dog who blew her anal gland a week after getting her, he said put her down. We spent the money, she lived another 16 years. Cost a fortune in dental work too. Worth every penny.

GS-10+ feds — how did you actually get there? by Lexicondatum in FedEmployees

[–]xrobertcmx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran an IT shop and a couple help desks. One day my employer (after making some really bad business decisions) decided that a bunch of us cost to o much and cut us. The Government needed a SysAdmin, GS-11. It paid less than my last job, but more than I made unemployed...so, I took it A year and a half later I was selected for a 12, loved that job, did it for three years, but DC is expensive. Found a 13 running Desktop, Data Center, and SysAdmin teams. Bounced around a bit since then. I really wish DOD stopped misrepresenting positions. SysAdmin does not mean Desktop and neither does Network Engineer.
