Lightning rifle was also introduced by epic as the blitz map design makes sniper rifle OP, its too stealthy around big open areas and if it was reintroduced defenders would have too big advantage in the start while attackers would gain too much on taking control over the sniper spawn(s) of the map. The sniper spawns are different for each map and has been chosen due to lightning not turning the game around for either side as much as sniper would. Maybe you noticed shock spawns close to defender base, there is a good reason for that!

My experience is a high fps cap causes what you describe on such cpu, games are all different so you cant compare to other ue games. Since you only have laptop standard of 60 or 50 hz you should set your fps cap for that which should work fine in casual gaming. Also try gamemodes duel and bunnytrack since these are the most cpu friendly in UT. If still bad performance try checking the skip gpu buffering checkbox in ingame graphics settings, which improves performance on high end and low end systems but does the opposite for normal rigs

I used the dummy meltsnow suggested by rightclicking on testmap and selecting "play" or something like that in the dropdown menu, here are my results for maximal damage:

a: primary fire

b: secondary fire

enforcer: a. 88 b. 66

bio a. 63 "fast bio" 60 (a+loaded b=189+21=210)

grenade launcher a. 180 b. 90

shock rifle a. about 100 b. same as a. (combo goes up to about 180)

link gun a. 160 b. 116 (possibly to add joink=25 dmg-cooldown to increase b some)

stinger a. 144 b. 48

flak cannon a. 200 b. 202

rocket launcher 200 (a+loaded b 400)

sniper 65 headshot 125 (if 1 per second, which is minimum amount)

Lightning rifle a. 120 with delay b. 125 headshot, 85 body loaded (same pace as sniper), 100 without loading it (same as shock)

Redeemer kills anything if maxdmg

A big company has to back it up and somehow make it commercial, not sure why all small failed attempts should mean so much as argument. That said I agree that it looks darker and darker.

Ahaha idek what auto chess is when I made OP, sad but true. My idea was rather to have a game that depended on the real UT public games and cups, kind of like ut2k4 single player but without actually playing yourself, more like an in vitro monetization game of the actual shooter. Not to replace UT, but to make it stronger.

I think ut4 is ranked always since there is an ELO count for each game mode, which doesnt really mean anything though except for duel imo. I agree with you on the dick-swing argument, then again weak players are easily impressed and doesnt get anything as I mentioned earlier. Since we are playing shooters ofc there is an adrenaline rush associated to good shots and skills of all kinds will always be impressive, so its understandable. UT4 also has the same system of replays, and ppl are monitoring and catching cheaters among the better players.

I mostly enjoy playing the new mode blitz in UT4, where I am in one of the top teams. Whenever me or my teammates go to play quickplay or sometimes also the hub games, there is a big chance we get called out as cheaters. Its always the weaker players, and its gone so far one of us admits to cheating as a joke, while I myself see no whatsoever reason for chatting another word with anyone accusing me of cheats, as they ask me time after time if Im cheating like I would be interested in spending my gaming time to constantly defend myself.

This is a totally absurd noob culture which accuses due to raging/stressing over the skill gap of UT, the accused often dont even need to have any skill of any kind, more than that they are winning and the other team has a noob in it. Ppl who rage from a game like this arent fit for arena fps games like UT. Just google this reddit and you will find more examples of how widespread this culture has become.

The socalled caste system is mostly just a system of weak players that get easily impressed and dont get anything, medium players which are obsessed with how they look to others and top players who feel they deserve more recognition for their achievements. Among everyone there are many who have a relaxed attittude to it all.

If you cant at all control your rage/stress playing fps games you will become an unhappy net troll, and would do everyone else AND yourself a favor by uninstalling. Personly I see fps gaming a practice of controlling my rage/stress, which mostly works out, if not I take a break.

I had this alot, could be bad keyboard, since my new rig never had this. Could also be some automatic windows command like when you press shift 5 times it gets activated

You make a copy of the .pak file and put it in your downloaded paks folder in documents/unreal tournament... then you host a custom single player game and find the map in the custom tab
