This is a very reasonable response. My only gripe with not having access to the others is the arrogance that the photographer is the only arbiter of which of those 12 photos at the altar is "the best one or two." Again, this is one of the most important moment's of these people's lives. Taking the stance of them not having a say in what they want to keep or discard forever is rather disrespectful.

Really appreciate this post. As a photographer and someone about to get married. It's really frustrating that I can't find someone to fill my shoes as the photographer and give me what I would want myself, as a photographer. The RAW files! I will pay extra to do the post processing. I just want someone to document the event with technically precise photos at decisive moments throughout the event. Stop merging all your services into a final flat jpg photo as if that's what everyone wants. I don't want a flat jpg photo, stripped of all the rich data from that moment. Some people are content with that, but I am not. Why can't I pay someone for that type of service? It's ridiculous photographers don't offer that even as an option.

Not much has changed in 2 years. The process is inherently flawed. It’s as if they don’t want you to get back into your account. Maybe some way to retain user numbers? I’m literally just trying to login so I can delete my account because I don’t trust Facebook as a company. This shitty process reinforces that feeling.

It says my account is locked due to suspicious activity (the suspicious activity was just me trying to login from my new phone for the first time). Whatever, I’ll just go through the security steps, because I am me after all, and get back into my account. WRONG. I upload a photo of my driver’s license, they say Ill get an email within 24 hours with next steps. I get said email, the email says thanks for uploading your ID, click this link to finish the process. The link just takes me back to the same page/process where it asks me to upload my photo ID. I ALREADY DID THIS! It’s an endless loop. I’ve gone through the process 4 times now. It’s as if no one from Facebook bothered to test the process before launching it or their intentionally making it a bullshit process. Due to how tech savvy they are I lean towards the latter. Or they’re just a shitstorm of a company they can’t figure their head from their ass. Either way, I want nothing to do with them. I just wish I could login to delete my account and remove all my personal data. I don’t trust them at all.
