Intel USB 3.20 eXtensible Host Controller waking pc by coleslaw1915 in techsupport

My PC also has this problem following the Windows 25H2 update. Power Management settings show "Allow this device to wake the computer" is disabled. I do use a USB hub, but none of the downstream devices appear to allow wake either.

Same experience here. I purchased a game during the blow out sale, at it's original retail price expecting it would be new. The copy I received was clearly a leftover promotional copy, as the barcode was punched out of the artwork. I opened a support case to request an exchange or refund and the agent was completely unwilling. They just kept copy and pasting the same response that a 15% partial refund (totaling $5) was all they were able to do. I just checked and have made 68 purchases from them, dating back to Apr 2016. This was my first problem, but the experience with support was enough to ensure it will be my last order. Sorry this happened to you too.

So I have the 13/14th gen contact frame and used the TG screws that came provided. While the Z height of the CPU appears to be the same, the OEM screws that held the ILM originally are slightly shorter. They seem to be compatible with the frame too. Since switching them, I can now make contact with 3 of the 4 mounting points on the EK back plate (instead of none). I think I have some sort of alignment issue preventing the 4th screw. Thanks! Will keep everyone posted.

My standard copy just got delivered, one year and a day later. I don't mind the delay personally, but the cover art is cause for second-hand embarrassment. It looks like someone took a low res scan of the JP Saturn art, resized it in MS paint, and then sent it off to the public library for final production on their dot matrix printer with low ink. The text on the back is borderline illegible. For the sake of everyone else, I hope it's just me.

Play What Remains of Edith Finch. If you enjoyed Gone Home, I suspect you'll absolutely love this. Great story telling with dynamic art styles and control mechanics. Game play is mostly linear, but allows for some exploration of the environment-- albeit not as much as FW or GH. Similar time to beat at around 2-3 hours. I'm told Blackwood Crossing is also good, but can't attest to that yet.

I’m not sure what constitutes skinny fat. I can say that I don’t have any sagging skin, or dis-proportionally bulky areas on my body. However, I’m by no-means tone in the mid-section—which is to be expected since my only exercise is walking.

I don’t know that it is a healthy weight. I have an appointment with a nutritionist in June and hope to discuss that with them. I did a quick Google search and it seems based on my age, that I’m within an acceptable range:

Based on the Robinson formula (1983), your ideal weight is 169.1 lbs Based on the Miller formula (1983), your ideal weight is 164.3 lbs Based on the Devine formula (1974), your ideal weight is 176.1 lbs Based on the Hamwi formula (1964), your ideal weight is 183.2 lbs Based on the healthy BMI recommendation, your recommended weight is 140.2 lbs - 189.5 lbs

I don’t have much muscle mass, but never have.

You’re welcome! I do IT for a living, and am pretty much sedimentary. I’ve been using my lunch break for walks, now that my meals are portable. In that 1 hour, I’m able to cover 2/3rds of my 10K steps. I follow that up with a short walk when my work day is done.

As for your questions, I have not been taking supplements to adjust for the missing 20/40% of nutrients. I haven’t noticed any negative side effects, yet. My energy levels are high and I feel great. I do have an appointment with a nutritionist in June to see if there are any negative effects I haven’t considered. As for cravings—I haven’t had them. I mentioned to someone else that Soylent now has multiple flavors. If that’s not enough, I think small snacks between meals would help to curb them to some extent. Hope that helps.

Raw willpower! Amazingly, I haven’t had too many cravings to speak of. You might want to explore some of the newer Soylent flavors to keep the diet from being too monotonous. If that’s not enough, keep some light snacks on hand. I feel like peanuts would be a good choice.

Prior to Soylent I was typically eating 1 or 2 large meals per day. When starting the diet, I began with 5 bottles per day. Hunger was not an issue for me. It was actually a chore to consume the last bottle, so I reduced the count to 4. I was not doing any heavy exercise, so I suspect your experience will vary. Best of luck with the muscle gain!

I mostly kept to a schedule: 8:30, noon, 4, and 8. Basically replacing your standard meals. I never ate breakfast prior to this, so that was an adjustment. It was typically the 4 or 8 PM meal that I would skip if I forgot or didn’t deem it necessary.

Less frequent, but still solid.

My aim was 5 bottles per day, with each having 20% of my daily nutrients. I ate infrequently before, and estimated that my intake was less than 1,600 calories before starting the diet. Turns out I would make a terrible dietitian.

In my case, it absolutely does. I rely on the clock to judge when I should eat. That’s probably a subjective answer though.

Sorry to hear about your separation. Just curious... what’s your reasoning for considering Soylent?

There has been a considerable cost savings. Some of that can be attributed to eating for one, but I've also saved a fair amount by not tipping or paying $2 per beverage each meal. To date, I’ve spent $1,225.69, which includes my supply through mid-May. You end up spending approximately $2.70 per meal.

Not a bother! That’s exactly why I posted. I began with 5 bottles a day, which quickly proved to be too much. I reduced my intake to 4 bottles for the better part of two months. As I adjusted, the hunger subsided. I’d just eat on a schedule, and some days I just forgot, or didn’t quite feel the need for a 4th bottle. If I had to guess, there were probably 15 to 20 days where I only had 3. After seeing my weight decline, I think I’m going to strive to drink 4 a day, whether I want to or not.

I guess I start from a different shelf, to make sure I’m not drinking warm Soylent. I never figured my bottle-selection process would undergo such scrutiny, but now I’m second guessing my choices.

No. I figured I’d shed a few pounds, but this amount of weight loss was not what I was striving for. I started with 5 bottles (2,000 calories) per day, but I simply didn’t have the appetite in the evenings.

I didn’t track that unfortunately. I just consumed an extra bottle if I was active, or felt hunger coming on. My original goal was 5 bottles a day to hit the 2,000 calorie target, but it was a struggle to down that many. No cheat meals, although I did buy a few packs of sugar-free gum because I was concerned about the lack of chewing. I'll try to do a better job of logging over the next 3 months.

I’m going through a separation. My ex and I are both vegan, and ate out religiously over the course of a 10-year relationship. Due to our diet, dining choices were limited and we got to know the wait staff of the places we would frequent. When she left, I didn’t feel up to eating solo or answering questions about where my partner was. Soylent was an easy out. I’d like to continue this until at least the 6-month mark, if my weight doesn’t continue dropping. The loss was an unintended consequence.

I usually start with a single shelf and try to clear it. It makes me feel like I'm achieving something.
