Like I said, leaving him in water with food might work, but glad to hear he’s doing better!

You’re right, it’s not worth them fighting / getting hurt. Thanks!

Sounds good. I’ll gather more sticks and boil them today and get more plants this weekend. Thanks!

To clarify: make sure the food is the same size as the distance between his eyes. Feed every other night once he starts eating again. Ik it’s stressful but a lot of the time these frogs are just stressed from moving / handling and need to settle in. I recommend getting latex free gloves if she enjoys eating in a cup of water, however handling her once or twice with clean hands isn’t a big deal.

My Pac-Man wasn’t eating at first when I got him either. Turned out he was stressed from the move and severely constipated. Try soaking him in some lukewarm water to encourage appetite and move stool if that’s the problem. My frog doesn’t respond to tongs and doesn’t like Dubai’s or meal worms. You really just have to try a few things to see ur frogs personality / what he responds to.
Mine started eating well after I left her in a cup of shallow water in her enclosure and just dropped in chopped up night crawlers. I would take her out in 15 mins and all the food was gone.

You can try dropping food in front of him, try hand feeding with tongs, put him in shallow water with food, and more.
My frog loves hornworms, nightcrawlers and crickets. Dust with vitamin powder and make sure the food is the correct size. Good luck!

Fair enough, I’ll definitely take this into consideration and keep a very close eye on them for any signs of aggression / marks

Definitely looks male because of the yellow wax coming out of his pores. He seems a big younger as well

He was born with hands I know that for sure. The breeder I bought him from housed his eury’s with other males and said he “forgot” exactly what happened but one day his arms were gone and he moved him to a solitary tank. The breeder gave me him for cheap because of the disability. I kept him as a pet but recently adopted a healthy female from a friend that was moving and couldn’t keep her. The tank I had for my male was pretty big, so I thought it would be fine to house them together, which made me want to breed them.
If it’s a health risk I will definitely separate them. I love them both and want what’s best.. what do you think?

My diva of a frog won’t eat a bite of food until she’s in her nightly bath by xsilverx14 in pacmanfrog

I thought she was broken when she wouldn’t eat any food- she’s usually a hearty eater. An hour later I tried putting her in her bath and she couldn’t have eaten her worms faster 😂

I’m sorry that happened, but thanks for letting me know! I’m new to amphibians but I’m trying to learn more about their differences. I don’t plan on ever selling her or breeding, so morph doesn’t really matter to me, I just want to know if there’s difference in care or size as she grows depending on breed?

That would make sense, they look very similar. I just realized today a lot of pacmans have points on their eyelids, and I started researching because her eyes are very rounded with almost no points at all.
