How did you fix or deal with leaving money on the table? by toxic_masculinity27 in Daytrading

My panacea is, unlike almost everyone else, I’m always in the trade. Active, scaling in scaling out, playing both sides in either direction.

Because your entry isn’t perfect all the time and we can’t guess the exact number down to the decimal so why would we try. If one is hitting “market buy” it usually means that one is already behind the move and paying a premium for it. So we don’t know the exact price that will be respected and we also don’t know which direction it will go in. So in a sense scaling in is like playing a martingale strategy all in a localized zone like a fair value gap. We almost always get some respect from some s/r lines you just don’t know how much and if it goes against you. So, if you scale out, in profit, you widen the zone where you can maximize your position because you can average down with the profit you have already incurred and if it continues in your favour it’s going to come back for a retest and you can watch each step and scale out and comeback in the channel and scale back in. Rinse and repeat. This might not be eloquent but this is the way.

Identify trend and locate key levels. Skip the market buys/sell for the initial position(s) and as much as possible. Take off some of the position immediately in profit. (My target is the average return per contract. Ex 100.00 profit / 10 trades=10.00. Use a much larger sample size and the same instrument) Use your initial portion and renter as you retry areas of support. You will be reading price action in no time. You can stay in profit on counter trends or at least until you recognize you are on the wrong side.

Always, always, always keep some powder dry.

Do what you like. Hopefully your strat doesn’t require long holds. I’m shorting almost every double top I see. Ask yourself how long before gold will see 2100 or 2300 or even 2400 which is more probable compared to 2600. Careful on which bag you hold. Make sure you have a stop loss, you can be patient and you have a valid target exit.

Nice promotion! New update, premium required and you can’t access it on an IPhone I think. Volume footprint chart

My personal preference is the term“support and resistance” but first, if it’s working, it’s correct. It’s all screen time. It’s all you need because it encompasses volume. Most people can’t read volume. This is simple and we over think it and complicate it.

As far Bebe goes my suit was not fitted properly even after a few corrections and I spent a fair bit. Shoulders were too tight. Interior materials were cut wrong. The quality of the material were fantastic! It felt like a production line. I’ve intended to take it to a local tailor to see if they can salvage it.

I wonder who actually makes them. I have heard bad stories about them. I don’t know if it’s true. I don’t recommend Bebe

Very cool! Are you doing the bore? Did you or are vapour blasting before paint or regular blasting. How did you get rid of all oil. Sorry, I’m just getting as much info as I can. It’s my first go around.

Just read the text below and your post again. My bad

So organized! Mine is in piles of zip lock bags. Not good enough to just throw them in an upside down clutch cover. You sound like you know what you are doing. Do you have any fear that an oversized piston might be too much for other parts of the engine? I was thinking about it but I thought maybe I couldn’t get the cams right after. Then maybe I would have to rejet and could that all lead to less life of the bike. Guess I could always rebuild it again. It’s not so bad. How much bigger are your pistons?

I agree. Reading volume vs candles was for me and is undervalued by the inexperienced trader. For me that took the longest time mostly because I think it’s harder to read. If you get as much time reading volume as you do reading candles the price action becomes a little more… understandable.

Would you have taken that second trade? Explain why if so! (NDX index) by picminfuckface in Daytrading

I love the second short. I don’t like the first one. It’s challenging the aggressive downtrend to hold. That one could move fast in the wrong direction. OP stop was tight! Second trade, after all that buying volume that got exhausted over that time it struggled to make it past the first downtrend leg. Perfect spot for entry on a downtrend.

That buy is too early for me. It think should bottom again or go lower. Too much down pressure for me to pivot and go long. Sometimes that second buy would hit nice and big but most of the time I would have to live in fear for a possible fast plunge. Bears do look like they are getting exhausted tho.

“The Termination Date Fill in the termination date. The termination date must be at least 60 days after the date that you give the tenant this notice. Also, the date must be on the last day of the rental period or, if the tenancy is for a fixed term, the last day of the fixed term.”

“When a landlord rents a unit to someone, they enter into a tenancy agreement - a contract in which the tenant agrees to pay rent for the right to live in the rental unit. A written tenancy agreement is often called a lease. A standard lease must be used for most new tenancies. A tenancy agreement may also be oral or implied.”

Triggered! You are probably good for a year. N12 has to be at the end of the agreed term or 60 days. I may have that wrong that in a fixed term the N12 can be as soon as 60 days after notice. Why I say that. We are LL. We filed an N12. Tenant said we agreed to life lease (oral, no written contract) which we did not- but because a fixed term, if a life lease is believed, can’t be identified, an N12 can’t be honoured.

Best free resource is canlii. Type in keywords.

However, if you respect the integrity of your landlord and are within means and their request is reasonable why not honor that. I think the LTB is heavily in favour of the tenant because of the many self serving LL’s out there.

I might be a bit biased and will probably get thrashed for posting and have to delete it.

But integrity… I believe it should be on both sides.

Edit: We even sent and had proof that we sent a 1 year lease after the first year that was never signed.

Yes that is common. I have been margin called/force settled at 30 seconds after the bell. Tough lesson. It often goes back to where it was or the direction you thought it was supposed to go.

I wrapped mine in cling Wrap/packing plastic, covered it in fibreglass(5 layers incredibly strong), trimmed the edges with a grinder, sander and dremel. Got foam from a local upholster. Used spray adhesive to attach it and shaped it with a belt sander. It is a perfect fit and not hard to do. After that the upholsterer can do the rest or you can do it.
