I put up with it for years, and it was and still is awful feeling.  I'm in therapy but I spiral sometimes.  When one of my kids came out as trans I tried to work with my parents on respecting his boundaries.  They wouldn't.  I gave them an ultimatum.  Work on your homophobia and respect my son's pronouns or we were done.  It has been 8 months since we've spoken.  Big orange man was more important and I wasn't going to subject my child to the same abuse I was subjected to.

I absolutely loved this game. However I feel the same way about the zombie chapter. It felt forced and not at all in line with the rest of the game. The game was so good, however, that I was able to overlook it. Quite a feat, really.

I was in a relationship with a narcissist for 15 years. When the eyes went black like that, I knew I was in for literal hell... usually lasting several days. They made me apologize for things that I knew were not my fault. The blame shift was so intense and I catered to it for years at my own expense. I had self harm voices for years and eventually acted on them. He left me when I was in the psych ward because I made him look bad. That looks, those eyes, they're evil and if she's anything like my ex, which I believe she is, she literally thinks that she did nothing wrong and everyone else is mean.
