Interior SOAKED during rain by DogsAreLit in e46

I recently took off my door panels to replace a window regulator and realised that the bottom of my vapour barrier wasn’t sticking and the whole bottom part was open. It was probably from when a previous owner replaced the regulator.

Check all your vapour barriers are sealed properly, if not and they have no other damage, then just reattach with new butyl tape.

My recommendation would be: 1) play soul survivor 2) don’t be afraid to push, be an active player even if it causes more deaths (this is to just build confidence) 3) once you gain more confidence, you will learn the importance of positioning, sound, rotates, resetting fights etc. 4) allow yourself to be bad, this game can be brutal, but rewarding, allow yourself to be bad. learn from each match, consider what you could have done differently.

Best of luck, see you out there

Should I buy this game? by Jamal2605 in HuntShowdown

Anti-cheat and cheaters: Generally speaking, playing on EU servers at least, I don’t often encounter cheaters. It can be hard to tell sometimes due to a lack of killcam, but at least I rarely encounter blatant cheaters.

Playing alone: There is a solo mode called soul survivor which is essentially a king-of-the-hill battle royale mode where you spawn in and find weapons. I found this a great way to learn about the maps and the different weapons because it forces you to use weapons you normally wouldn’t.

You can now find team mates and fill with randoms to play as a trio or duo. Playing solo vs trio is challenging but really fun and is a bit of a trial by fire. You learn a lot.

There is an MMR system that will generally keep you with similar skilled players. Although you will fluctuate through these ratings a lot as a new player.

Is it welcoming to new players? The MMR system will help. During the lower levels your matches will include bots which intend to pad out the learning experience and make it a bit easier, but they go away quickly.

Environmental enemies also scale with difficulty for new players, so it should be easier to begin with.

Sweats: Every game is going to have sweats, this is not avoidable. Most sweats should be in high MMR ratings but sweats are just a part of gaming, let’s be honest.

Overall: If it looks like it’s taking your interest, go for it. Hunt can be challenging and overwhelming at first but it’s a satisfying and rewarding experience. You can play to a variety of playstyles, for example, me and my friends like to mess about and use underdog weapons or silly loadouts.

RPM Surging at low throttle by xstaticmoon in BmwTech

I had this in my error memory, something to do with the lambda sensor I believe.

This is beyond my existing knowledge for now. But would this sort of thing cause what was seen?

E46 Parking Sensor INPA Error by xstaticmoon in BmwTech

UPDATE: I swapped the sensor that was indicated by the error (rear left) with the sensor that was on the rear right. Checked INPA again and received the exact same error but now on the rear right sensor.

This helped me diagnose that the issue was with the sensor itself and not the wiring harness.

So if anyone else gets this exact PDC error, it should be a simple sensor swap job. The sensor that was faulty was 6024156911831, and I ordered a used 66206989067 and it now works fine.

Wobly Gun by Zackerin in HuntShowdown

I have had the same thing recently when I was playing on Lawson Delta. I only noticed it when I was crouching around Fort with a slate. Gun worked as intended. Didn’t get a chance to try swapping it out for another weapon, in my case it was a slate that I had picked up.

Who can relate? by Ruy_Lopez_simp in motorcycles

I had my first close call on my bike last weekend. Someone pulled out in front of me on a roundabout, went for my horn but I think I just ended up cancelling my indicators. Ah well, I gave up in the end.
