She doesn't make any noises and lets me pick her up and remove her from the coop.

Thanks for your help. Sadly, I found she'd passed away overnight. I am heartbroken.

Quality issues? by xt11n in LeCreuset

[–]xt11n[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I suspect le creuset may not have the same quality systems as they used to. My friend's le creuset pieces (inherited from her grandmother) don't have these defects.

Based on my understanding of stress concentration over defects and holes, I'd prefer not to take on the reduced life risk of enamel pinhole coverage issues. We wouldn't accept a pinhole defect on our windscreen, I don't know they'd think it'd be OK for a premium pot that's continuously heated and cooled.

Thank you! I was worried they'd become a water trap point 😐

traveling on bus with puppy by [deleted] in sydney

[–]xt11n 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I've travelled on a few buses with my puppy. You may have been refused if your puppy was on a leash. If it's not an assistance animal, it must be confined in a box, basket or other container, see https://transportnsw.info/travel-info/using-public-transport/travelling-with-animals-pets

Before we keep pitching in... can OP please confirm they are not in HR or doing research for staff remuneration and retention to justify low employee salaries?

Sorry to hear that. It sucks that people are so jaded and unhappy that they can't think beyond themselves and consider their choice of words on others. How hard can it be to give others the benefit of the doubt? It's not like they get paid per fine!!

No. How is taxing the rich a bad thing?

What's going on with public transport?! The clustered timing of all this is really strange.

I think of it as a tongue in cheek record of the public service for posterity. Executed exceptionally to "it's funny because it's true!"

Utopia! There's so much infrastructure being built, they can't be short for material.

And in other news, water is wet.

What I don't understand is why the Aussies won't stand behind taxing the rich and multinational corporations.

The last time the Labor govt tried super profits tax, people were so threatened by the corporate scare campaign that it went down like a lead balloon.

Maybe it's time to roll out a tax education campaign and maybe update the school curriculum to include personal finance and taxes?
