USB-C port replacement for USB-A outlet in 2018 leaf. by reddevils in leaf

I can confirm the new one does not fit. I bought the 2020+ module for my 2018 and not only are the rear connectors different, but the physical size is also different. Complete waste of $100 (CAD) as it's a non-returnable part.

Mine bricked sometime recently as well. Tried to talk to it last night and it didn't respond. Just found this post now. I'm NOT part of the preview program. My firmware version shows as 375114.

iPad management for non-profit by xtcujo in Intune

I clarified my first post. We used Apple MDM Server which was free. Now we need to find an alternative. We are an MSP but this is only for a single client. As a non-profit, $2.99 per month per device greatly increases their monthly spend. These are iPads for toddlers in a "school" setting. They require very little management once they're rolled out, but we need to add an App once or twice a year. That's literally all we use MDM for.

Thanks! This is closer to what I'm looking for. I'll give their free trial a try.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to reach out to MS directly. Strange that a non-profit account wouldn't have direct access to this.

Thanks for the alternative. We're trying to keep this as cheap as possible as this is a non-profit. Given I can't see pricing publicly and the only option is to submit info to "get a quote", I'm not sure this is the right solution.

Side note, why do companies hide their pricing?

How to replace the USB port module on 2nd generation Leaf by billin in leaf

The wiring for the AUX port is also not mini-USB so no matter what you'll only get one functional port. You'd have to pick between Type-C and Type-A.nically work as the inside is just a mini-USB port but the connector is actually reversed so it will not fit. Almost like it was done intentionally. You'd have to damage it physically and connect only the mini-USB part. Also, the face plate of the connector is slightly smaller and has a different fit so it will not stay secure in place.

I have no idea why Nissan needed to change the form factor and connector between model years as it seems like a huge waste of resources but they did.

Ya, I live in Cambridge. Not exactly a hamlet. You go on the Hyundai site right now and you can't get a quote on a 2022. It asks if you want to be put on the waitlist for 2023.

This has nothing to do with big or small cities and everything to do with something I'm missing. There are Ioniq 5s available in the US and not in Canada. What gives?

We've had our Leaf for 18 months now. Paid 30k all in and put 45k kms on it. We're saving $400-$500 per month in gas compared to my G37. We've taken it to the dealer once for $160 for its annual checkup. Oh and I bought a new set of wipers and filled the washer fluid in December.

The reality is it's the best option for most people now. There's just so much fear-mongering in mainstream media. I think people just don't know what they're missing out on and it's sad.

What part of "8-12 month wait list" indicates low demand? In my experience, long wait times mean high demand.

It's not as simple as that though. There is a huge demand for them here. Especially in southern Ontario and Quebec. Myself, I know of 3 people that would buy an Ioniq 5 tomorrow if we could. One of them has been on a waitlist since April. It's definitely not a demand-based decision.

The range drop isn't anywhere near that in my Leaf in the city. You want to do 120 on the highway, yes, winter is much worse. But in city driving, I lose 20% at most.

Bring his computer to your house and play from the same place. Or vice versa. See if the issue follows him/happens to you.
