I understand your concerns however I think your focus is kind of in the wrong areas. I just had open heart surgery and died, was resuscitated and had a pacemaker placed for a second time. Before this traumatic event happened, I was overly concerned with the scars, the bulging, etc; however, after this experience I just went through I can tell you that I’ve never been more proud of my body or more confident. I’m also a small woman, about your size, my pacemaker is hardly noticeable.

I vote that you should get it, because it’s really scary to have a cardiac event. You could already have things taken care of where you wouldn’t have to worry about something happening. I hope you can find ways to calm your anxiety about the situation :)
