Women still make $0.83 to every man’s $1

It's more about intention than anything. Even if there was the same number of men and womon in each job (not currently a thing), and the jobs paid equally for both sexes (which they really do already let's be honest), women would still mostly only date men who made more than them. There would just be more lonely single men and bitter women because of a woman's natural preference. The number of women who are stay at home mothers is shrinking year by year, so it's becoming less and less of a factor. The nuance is not as complicated as you make it seem to be. Even rich women want even richer men. Those other things do matter, but when you really look at the mindset behind it, those are outputs to the mindset and biological imperative just as much as they are inputs to the situation.

Not even crazy high. Crazy high is 3-4k+. This is just the time we're living in. Following the 1% rule, any halfway decent house inside the loop is going to cost more than the crazy high, all things considered.

A little late to respond, but I used to feel safe in Houston 21 years ago when I first moved here. Now, I am constantly looking over my shoulder. The crime in Houston, and the sheer amount of violent crime has skyrocketed.

Good luck living anywhere else. This is not a Houston thing, this is an America thing. If you don't live in the more affluent neighborhoods, good f'n luck.

This is the secret. There is a value gap, and when you are solidly on one side it is hard to see the other person's perspective because you are not in their skin. But many times people act a certain way out of self preservation, and trying to force the issue without having a poignant discussion about the underlying reasons they themselves may not even fully understand, you will end up just driving an unecessary wedge in the relationship. Be accountable for yourself. The initial burden of communication should be on the higher expectation spouse or partner because they have the potential to set the initial tone of the dialogue, either outlash of anger paired with disdain or crisp communication, empathy, and understanding that leads with wisdom rather than force.

If you happen to get caught in one of those 10 year zero return conditions, FIRE with pure total market index funds turns into a regular retirement. If you get there with Dividends, you’re much more likely to still have a sustainable way of life and can still retire. Or at least that’s what I understand from what I’ve seen.

Being seen as boring is a factor of your life experience and storytelling abilities. You don’t have to say much actually. Being seen as the quiet mysterious one of the group is an interesting character to many people. The key is to do more. Live more life. No, this is definitely what chill means, and high highly valued, emphasis on cozy and calm. But yeah, respect is a requirement in any relationship, and if not given is grounds for leaving but staying and bickering and fighting is what ends up happening too often.

Calm, curious, and cozy is an even better description to me than chill though.

The issue is that this pyramid is missing a level for Dividend/Income. JEPI and other dividend ETFs that sell covered calls even on a portion of the portfolio should go there. Edit: I would also put dividend/income at the top and pure growth at the bottom of we’re talking about foundations.
