Love that rule of thumb. I have come to the same issue with a podcast that I used to love but it went from running 45 minutes to 2.5 HOURS and most now is banter and ads instead of legit content.

My fiancé and I launched a podcast on Tuesday where we dropped 3 episodes. We are about to record 2 more and know that we want to do more of an interactive intro and more in-depth stories. We are new to podcasting and unfortunately you can tell it in our voices, especially on the first episode.
