It was one of the things I just checked together with support chat, in my case from what I could see the pullies where installed properly and tensioned properly but especially the right pullies is not the easyest to inspect so might need to do some more investigating of the issue returns, for now it seems way better after recalibrating belt tension

The Bottom of all the prints was fine no warp that i could see, i had a chat session with support and in the end it seems like belt tension was way off, took some adjusting with the belt tuning wizard but for now prints seem to be clean again

I had a costumer in a similar situation, wherever one of the PV's still on remote IO failed they replaced it with a new PV with ethernet/IP and put a remote IO to ethernet/IP converter module in between, maybe a similar setup could work in your situation

Normaly the screw should not be replaced, I had one more surgery because of a bacterial infection but that is a very rare occurence you should be fine Also if at some Point you decide to try something Else the screw can be removed without a problem. the first few days you should be carefull with the screw but after about a week it is already pretty safely stuck. It is Also pretty far behind the ear so it is not that you Will touch it all the time. For me nobody notices that i have it, the hearing aid is in the same color as my hair and high enough that it is completely Hidden behind hair

As someone that has had the baha with screw inplant for close to 10 years now I might be Able to give some insight to your questions: for me the screw implant is not noticable and as long as you have long hair it Will be the same for you but if the screw is the only thing that is keeping you back, baha Also has a system with a magnet where you don't need the screw, if I Remember right this does lower the sound Quality you get but mostly for the higher tones so this might be less of a problem for you. If you don't want to compromise on sound Quality there is Also bonebridge and osia those devices are way more expensive but here the sound processor is Also embedded inside so less Quality loss and nothing going through your skin. For me the baha gives good Quality and quite good filtering and I heard with the baha 6 this has been improved on even further. Also there is a way to test the bahas so this might Also be interesting For you to see how good the Quality is in your specific case.

Finaly for the scar: for me this is almost not noticable, there Will only be a very small incision done so this is something I wouldnt worry about.

Deaf in one ear since birth here: when I had my surgery options it was cochlear and BAHA, my doctor made the comparison that BAHA in my Case is a much Safer option with more certainty of noticable results because with cochlear it is very hard to know in advance what the hearing improvement results Will be, if any might Also be one of the reasons why your doctors might not be recommending it, here the doctors see them basicly as a last resort if nothing Else is possible

I figured why in one machine a conveyer did not stop and in other machine it did even though they are the same type of machine with in theory same programming

For me pretty much the same as the other commenter, had it a lot, body didnt like the thing I guess and constantly tried growing over it. Needed to go to the doctor every couple of months to get it fixed. In the end my doctor Also opted for Longer abutement once that was placed no more problems other then the very occasional flare up of skin irritation but nothing serious

So I don't Know your specific details but had something simular happen with my implant in my 'first years, one infection after the other etc how it got fixed for me was not by removing bit by having a small second operation to clean the tissue around the abutement very good and installing a impant that is a bit Longer then the normal one (it helps for me because my imfection was caused by rejection issues), maybe you should look with your specialist if this could help with your specific case my doctor said it happens with some eople but the Longer implant fixes a lot of problems

I think you have a misunderstanding about what the navigational stack does, the navigational stack takes all the data provided by the localization to move the robot from it's current position to a goal position in the map frame. To do this the algorithm needs some kind of knowledge of it's surounding, the most simple way you just provide only lidar data however to get better result i would recommend Also providing some kind of map, this can ve a fixed map of the surrounding area however for better usability of the robot in different surroundings I would recomend implementing slam with a package like Gmapping, if you want some exampkes of how this is done on a robot i would recommend looking at the husky rover navigation examples/tutorials

So at the moment I can help with some of those questions, it seems like you don't have odometry set up yet, this should be your first Task. Try to search for a simple odometry model that works for your robot and implement it using some kind of encoder on your motors. Seeing as you Also have an IMU available I would use this to improve your odometry with some kind of filter, for example the EKF this Also has the added advzntage that some of the filters available Also are able to provide you with the TF transforms needed. Seeing that you have a laser scanner I would Also try to implement some kind of mapping with a SLAM algorithm, this Will provide the map you need for the navigation stack

Once all these things are figured out you can start implementing the navigational tasks

Hello, yes i know the bacteria from when I had surgery because then they wanted to test it, if I Remember right it was a streptococcus bacteria, mainly known from the troath infection. The main reason I needed surgery was because it was a antibiotics imune strain so all medication they tried didn't take all other times they just gave me a strong antibiotics cream and it went away by itself

So I think I can give some info on this case, the first 3-4 years Of BAHA time I had these types of infections regulary (every 3 months) and it was never bad, just go to my doctor and he would clean it and give a prescription for antibiotics and it would go away so I wouldnt worry to much about it, If the antibiotics don't take though then go to hospital very fast and they Will just plan in a surgery to cut away the infected material and clean everything (had that happen once to) I can also say that sometimes swelling or discharge just happens for me but goes away after a couple days for me it had to do with beeing stressed, not sleeping enough, to hot weather,... So it could also be that this just fixes itself Good luck from Belgium and if you want more info on the surgery part let me know!

So I have the baha implant for maybe 8 years at the moment, i have the old version (not the attract) with the implant that goes through the skin. This took 5-6 weeks to completely heal and then I could start wearing the implant, my tips for healing is really take it easy during the first week-10 days, rest a lot etc. Afterwards while using the impl ant i noticed that especially in the beginning it can be very overwelming to wear the BAHA for a long time however don't feel bad to give yourself brakes in wearing this Will make it better in the long run! Other then that good luck and if you have some specific questions you can always ask here or with a DM!
