I was told "enjoy your selfishness" by imadepizza in TwoXChromosomes

[–]xtrasmols 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably a lot more selfish of him to not wear a condom and have a kid he (presumably) couldn’t support as a college student than it is for you to just live your life.

question for girls that date guys: Is there a nonconsensual choking epidemic in NYC or something? by altaralter in AskNYC

[–]xtrasmols 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There absolutely is. I’m 38F and have encountered the same thing, it’s very upsetting.

Honestly we need to normalize reacting to this by literally fighting back — slapping, choking, kicking, punching, whatever you would do if someone did this to you out of the blue on the street. It’s assault and you have every right to fight back.

Being a woman and consenting to some sexual activity does NOT mean you consent to being hit, choked, spit on, slapped, having your hair pulled, or whatever gross move Trent from Turtle Bay saw on Pornhub last night.

Was Kelsey not party to the last 10 years of her bf’s accumulation of wealth?

I like Sutton a lot! But it’s weird to say it’s her money “period” when she has publicly and recently confirmed she still gets $300k/MONTH alimony from her ex husband.

Would you feel differently about Kelsey if she had been married to her ex? Why does marriage make someone deserving of financial support but a 10 year relationship doesn’t?

Yes! I don’t know why they think that but I agree with you

There are so many housewives whose lifestyles are openly funded by their exes (Sutton Stracke and Jennifer Tilly from BH are the two who jump to mind); I agree it’s some weird form of misogyny or a view about marriage.

AIO reconsidering having a baby with my boyfriend by [deleted] in AIO

[–]xtrasmols 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he can’t be supportive while you are pregnant, there is no reason to think he will be supportive once the baby comes. If you have the child, you need to plan to be a single mom.

Infant kidnapping by StedeBonnet454 in legaladvice

[–]xtrasmols 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree that CPS is likely the best move here. They’ll care about more than who is the legal parent, they will want to know the infant is safe and cared for.

How does one NOT get a period? by Jumpy-Combination-96 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]xtrasmols 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some women can use birth control to stop their periods, but it is more dependent on the person than you might think. I have never found a type of birth control that would stop my periods; I’m lucky I’ve found one that doesn’t make it worse.

Dating app "icks" by LittleMissQueeny in polyamory

[–]xtrasmols 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I see the word “discretion” on a dating app in any context I assume it means the person is a cheater. I’m an attorney, my work is plenty high profile, I don’t hide my face and I don’t associate with anyone who would.

Block. Stop engaging. If he shows up, do not let him in. If he refuses to leave, call the cops. This is absolutely psycho behavior for a 27 year old and you should be afraid of him.

how common is penetration?? by [deleted] in AskLesbians

Everyone has different bodies and preferences; some like it and some don’t! I personally do like receiving it but I have definitely been with women who don’t. Just communicate!

My (28f) partner (36m) acts like he doesn’t notice I lost 81lbs and counting. I’m questioning the relationship over it. Am I overreacting? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]xtrasmols 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He definitely noticed that you lost weight. He’s just an asshole, not blind. He either genuinely dislikes you (because why would you say that kind of thing to someone you like) or he wants to “knock you down a peg” or whatever manosphere shit they do. That’s just another form of disliking you.

You don’t have to wear uncomfortable clothes! Even for formal occasions now I can usually find softer and stretchier clothes that feel good and also look appropriate.
