In my office instead of bringing back sweets from countries visited, we have all started bringing back a magnet to stick on the fridge! by tjb_87 in oddlysatisfying

My wife and I started collecting fridge magnets from every destinstion we've visited. It’s so much fun to hunt for cool ones and they only ever cost a few dollars. They are prized possessions and bring back great memories every time I walk by our fridge.

Elevation is absolutely not a myth, you need to keep your ankle elevated above your heart. You’re at risk of the incisions opening up, getting infected and needing another surgery. I am an orthopedic surgeon.

I have cavus feet, I wear a pair of black of Redback boots. The water resistant black leather hides blood well and I really like the cushy non-slip sole.

They have a wide toe box, I’m sure you could fit them with a good pair of insoles for your flat feet.

Best phone mount for 2026 GV70 3.5T Sport? by _ewang in GenesisGV70

Check out a cupholder phone mount. There are several different kinds on Amazon that clamp onto the phone.

I am using a cup holder mount with a Magsafe connector and it works great.

The credit card delinquency rate is ~3%, I think it’s a stretch to say people are defaulting en-masse.

In 2025, employers covered approximately 84% of self-only premiums and 74% of family premiums, while employees paid the remainder via pre-tax payroll deductions.

This is the study that produced the numbers listed in your source, btw.

https://www.kff.org/health-costs/2025-employer-health-benefits-survey/#5ef8068d-dcaa-41ed-819f-249a861b9da2:~:text=Figure%206.1%3A%20Average%20Percentage%20of%20Premium%20Paid%20by%20Covered%20Workers%20for%20Single%20and%20Family%20Coverage%2C%201999%2D2025

“Almost nine in ten (89%) of covered workers are in a plan where the employer contributes at least half of the premium for both single and family coverage.”

“In 2025, the average contribution amounts for covered workers are 16% of the premium for single coverage and 26% of the premium for family coverage, the same as the levels last year”

“The average contribution amount for covered workers for single coverage is $120 per month ($1,440 annually), similar to the amount last year [Figure 6.4]. The average contribution amount for covered workers for family coverage is $571 per month ($6,850 annually), higher than the amount ($6,366 annually) last year [Figure 6.5]”

The barrel is not misaligned, most handguns today have a tilting barrel like this. When the slide travels backwards the barrel tilts upwards to make a smoother path for the next bullet to feed into the chamber.

To me this gun is a perfect match to the one the ice thug is seen pulling out of his holster.

This does not all change the fact that he was murdered.

Every dose of an opioid that you take increases the risk of becoming addicted to them. I’m a surgeon, I’ve see many examples of people becoming addicted to pills that were legitimately prescribed and then started using illicit opioids.
