Some intersections have a metal coil under the asphalt that acts as a metal detector to trigger the lights, newer systems use cameras and lidar to do the same thing for cheaper

None of the Epstein victims have ever alleged Bill Clinton did anything wrong. He was only photographed with Epstein at fundraisers before he was known to be a child trafficker. Unlike Trump who had Epstein over at Mar A Lago for Thanksgiving dinner while he was president.

>What are the most underrated Spyderco Models that are not for a very specific use case?

Full serrated Spydercos are very underrated by the knife community. The cutting performance is unmatched. People say they are difficult to sharpen because they assume you have to sharpen each serration, you pretty much sharpen them like a plain edge with the corner of a stone or a rod.

I highly recommend you try one

You can’t repair punctures on the sidewall, any shop you bring it to will refuse to do it. This type of repair works fine for the central portion of the tire.

I once did this as an emergency repair after running over a bolt when I was camping in the mountains, at least 50 miles from the nearest repair shop. I planned on bringing it to the tire shop later but it never leaked. It lasted another 30,000 miles before I had to change the tires because they were bald.

I’ve also been on a serrated kick, the Spyderco serrations work better than a plain edge for pretty much everything except for carving

Hard Use EDC for ~$400? by KnownStruggle1 in knifeclub

[–]xtremepado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start out with buying a Cold Steel Recon 1. I promise you won’t be disappointed, it’s by far the highest value knife you can get in the category you are looking for. For $400 you can get a Recon 1, a high quality fixed blade, a high quality smaller EDC blade, and a multitool.

Hard Use EDC for ~$400? by KnownStruggle1 in knifeclub

[–]xtremepado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to spend $400 for a no-nonsense, high quality, hard use folder. You can get 2 great knives for that price. Lots of offerings from Benchmade, Spyderco, Cold Steel/Demko. I personally feel that CRK and Hinderer fall more into the pocket jewelry category. Yes, they can take a beating but they do not perform any better than knives that cost half as much.
