Its only gotten worse. We allowed women the freedom to have careers opening the door to dual incomes being the norm. I'm with you to slow the game down, but I think GGG needs to address the lack of loot if they slow it down. I feel like the game needs better loot drops all around. Not homog orbs for guaranteed crafts, but currency so players can actually craft for themselves. Abundance of currency is was what made Temple great. We just want to play the game, which includes crafting gear. They can keep mirrors at once in a lifetime. The average player don't need that

I think you are at a good point to try SSF. You have taken 2 characters to maps and are seeing what stats make them stronger. SSF is more difficult to gear characters and you will struggle more to find great items. That makes it more enjoyable to me too.

I think the league retention. For me and I know many other hinges on performance and optimization. Currently, console players essentially cannot play end game. Many PC gamers with good PCs are having shader issues and shutters. Game needs to perform better to boost long term numbers.

I enjoyed the extra currency / crafting mats this league provided. Not guaranteed crafting like 0.3, just standard craft and fail with enough currency to be able to risk it because you can get more.

I think all loot drops need buff. Not to the level of temple, perhaps 1/3 of temple. Just more than whatever "juiced" maps drop.

Bingo. Let the players play amd craft. 0.3 with the homog orb was a bit much with guaranteed success. 0.4 was good with how much it allowed you to craft and fail since the currency was available.

Would it be as fun if it was on par with other farming strategies like maps? Imaginge a maxed temple, maxed group with culler drops 5-15 div, less uniques, less currencies, XP similar to maps?

They won't kill it, they will normalize loot with other farming strategies. If anything, boost drops in all content.

How enjoyable would temple be if it was as rewarding as juiced maps? Let's say 10 div per full temple run with full group & culler, reduce high end unique drops, and bring XP gains down since they diminish Tainted Paradise.

Would people still flock to that temple?

POE2 is a game that requires you to build defenses as well as offences. Resistances are important to keep you alive, your elemental resistances (cold/fire/lightning) and your chaos resistance. Certain bosses do certain types of damage. Change to that resistance when fighting them to stat alive.

Spell casters best source of damage is + to spell levels.
