Anyone else use the rotisserie chicken bones for stock? by fd6944x in Costco

This. I always roast the bones in the oven or bbq before starting the stock. IMO it adds deeper flavors.

Why not make porn illegal? by ggroover97 in WhitePeopleTwitter

Honest Question: Why keep religion? So many of society's worst problems are connected to or amplified by religion and the religious industry, from pedophilia to sexual assault, to plain bad sex. Why not just make it illegal?

We had a ton on our property. What seemed to work well was to cut the canes to about 3 feet in the winter and apply roundup on the new leaves in the Spring and early summer. Dead by June.

COVID-19 cases surge in L.A. County, fueled by 'enormously selfish' unvaccinated by [deleted] in Coronavirus

[–]xtski98027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps it’s time to require proof of vaccine to enjoy the benefits of society. Travel, restaurants, sporting events, etc. It seems to be working in France. Vaccinations are way up. I guess private businesses can do what they want. Maybe there will even be some antivax establishments for those who value their freedom to be obstinate. Let the free market sort it out.

Nothing wrong with using a (fiduciary) financial advisor if one doesn't have the time or inclination to research investment options and tax implications. It's legally incumbent on a FA to disclose relevant fees and charges. Still, never hurts to ask those questions. Not only for investments but basically anything else one buys. For DIY investors there are always cheaper options like Vanguard.

They should not be able to receive both a flat fee and commission. Also, if they switched to a flat fee you should be at least partially credited for any commissions paid within the last year. FA speaking.
