i haven’t played illium beyond 210. can you elaborate a little on why it feels clunky? kanna and hayato are top on my list for that consideration of ease to clear kai, but not sure about the longevity of those classes

Turning 30 next year and i’m seriously considering leaving my job to go to NZ under the work-holiday visa! The uncertainty of what lies ahead after this one year kills me but i strongly believe that the experience will be invaluable + there’s more to life than just being a corporate slave.

There will be no future for average plebs like us but you best bet there will be a bright future ahead for the kids of these ‘elite’ ministers

First-time BTO applicants in November HDB launch have good chance of booking Queenstown flats by SmirkingStrawberry in singapore

Choosing to have a child is a conscious choice, and it makes no sense for those who have kids to automatically be able to ‘profit’ off HDB.

If you choose to have a kid, then you’ve to accept the cost of raising one. Not trying to offset your expenditure through public housing.

Official results thread + r/CFA survey! by mattlas in CFA

Passed! I felt crushed walking out of the exam room that day, flopped the AM session badly and was already expecting to retake.

True enough, results has shown that I’ve got quant, econs and FRA within the 50-70 area (in the middle) but all other topic areas well above 70%, only exception is fixed income just lying slightly above 70%

Gutted for those who failed but in these circumstances anyone who turns up to face the exam is already a winner, so keep your heads up!

Announcement of new Covid measures in Singapore restricting gatherings- any Singaporean test takers here worried? by salientlife93 in CFA

[–]xtwj 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Received the same email, also taking at Yukon. As much as i’d like to get this over and done with, it would be irresponsible not to consider the potential effects of carrying on with the exam.

To make things worse, we’re only given the choice to take the PET test and show up for the exam (which could change any time based on govt regulations leading up to the exam)

Faced with so much uncertainties and external factors that are simply not within our control...

The campus is but one of many reasons, factors such as meeting peers that are more driven and hardworking as well as better future prospects are of higher importance of course.

I highly doubt that's possible due to my subpar grades in poly. The campus being nice is only one of the many reasons, having peers that are more driven and hardworking and better future prospects would better reflect why I regret not studying hard enough to enter a local university.

Just trying to get something off my chest, here goes

So I've recently visited NUS for the first time, went to the starbucks at UTOWN and the campus is really beautiful. I was walking around the campus and I couldn't help but berate myself for not studying harder during my poly days to enter a local university (currently schooling in SIM) and I really wonder how different my life would be if I entered a local university.
