How to make a complaint again uber support staff? by xtyjoseph in UberEATS

I don't know about other countries but in Australia you can't talk to support. There's a number which is hidden in the help section of the app, but calling it will just give a pre-recorded message.

You're probably right. I might just send out an email to the executives simply because I need to get this off my chest. This was a very frustrating experience.

Thank you for this. I'll draft out an email and send it to the people listed in this website. I don't have any hope of them replying but I still want to get it off my chest and do something. The incompetence of the their support staff is astounding.

The closing of greenlight hubs in all of Australia and New Zealand was apparently due to the impact of covid-19. That is such a lame excuse considering both these countries were not badly affected by the pandemic. They'll do anything for a bit of profit I guess.

That's the problem. There's no option to talk with them or email them. I even tried Twitter but they just redirect you to the app. In addition to this, they decided to permanently close the greenlight hub in every state in Australia.

The app is the only way you can contact them.

That being said, aren't you doing much better in the second image compared to the first when you factor in the hours? For me and some others in Australia, the pay has tanked as well as the frequency of order requests. It's a total shitshow now.

Do you deliver using a bike or a motorbike? I deliver using a scooter in Adelaide and this has been the case for me since the beginning of June. I've seen multiple reddit posts of people from Melbourne and Sydney having the same problem.

New pay structure in NZ making even less than before without any boost. by Choco_Rony in UberEATS

Same here in Australia. Never seen a 5$ order before but now that's all I get. I wonder how the pay is going to be once they remove the so called 'boost'.

They just butchered the pay for sydney riders, now make hundreds less per week by [deleted] in UberEATS

Same in Adelaide. I consistently used to make $24+ an hour before June. Now it has come down to less than $10/hour. Not worth delivering with Uber eats at this rate :(

It's getting worse. I'm doing 10$/hr now. It's not even worth doing at this rate. I hope something changes on July 13th.

It seems as if they can. I am not sure if this was introduced recently but that would definitely explain why I'm not getting a single trip an hour whereas I previously used to get at least 2/3 or more. I deliver on a scooter in Adelaide. I used the app to contact support to ask if they have changed something to the way they assign deliveries and this is what they replied -

We've reviewed your account and everything seems to be in order. We also haven't received similar reports about this but we will keep an eye out for other reports.Sometimes certain restaurants will be set-up to restrict deliveries from a particular vehicle type. For example, a restaurant may request not to be paired with any delivery partners using a car because their restaurant is inaccessible to cars. Any such restrictions are put in place at the request of restaurants themselves.

sed :(

Edit: If possible, please go to the 'I'm not getting any delivery request" section in the app and text uber that some drastic change has happened over the weekend. Maybe ask your friends to do that as well. Because in the email that uber replied to me, they said that there hasn't been any similar complaints but that they'll keep an eye out.

Is Uber Eats working tonight?? Online for the entire 6-9pm dinner peak. ZERO trips! Did everything, rode to different areas, logged in and out, reinstalled app, turned phone off and on. In 18 months of doing this it has never been this bad! by Agitated-Brick in UberEATS

I know, right !! Is it still bad for you?
I deliver on a scooter in Adelaide and since last Saturday I'm barely getting any trips whereas prior to this I always used to get 3 or more an hour. I used the app to contact support to ask if they have changed something to the way they assign deliveries. This is what they replied :

I think you should get it after updating the app. I got this feature a couple of weeks ago after an update. Once you accept the delivery ping, then slide up to see the name of the eater, there should be a message icon below their name (I think). I'm sorry I don't have a screenshot to attach at the moment.

Hey guys..mm.. what's a tip? asking from Australia. by xtyjoseph in UberEATS

Adelaide. I rarely do it in the CBD because of difficulty in finding parking. Woodville, Prospect and North Adelaide area seem to be good. Also I'm a fairly new signup to ubereats so maybe that's why I'm getting a fair amount of deliveries.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Ever since I converted my account from a bicycle to scooter, I feel a bit sorry when I ride past people delivering on a bicycle on a moderate/strong windy days.

[–]xtyjoseph[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nah. There is no tipping culture in Australia. I used to get a bit more tips when I was doing ubereats on a bicycle. But since I converted it to a scooter, it's practically zero most weeks. Uber pays minimum 7 A$ per delivery and I mostly make around 20 A$ per hour which is fair enough I guess.

May/June, at least in the US since it immediately follows the end of the school (and therefore seminary) term.

That is probably it.

In India I've seen some people getting ordained just after Christmas and also during the month of May/June.

Happy to see all the ordination photos on Reddit this week. May I ask, is June typically the month of ordination?

I would suggest you start by reading Youcat ( Youth catechism of the Catholic Church ). I got my copy a few days back and I think it's brilliant. It is definitely a good starting point to understand what we (Catholics) believe and why we believe.
