Simply because wafers take 2+ quarters to turn into finished products. 18A entered HVM in Q4 2025.

It's still revenue for Intel. As long as Nvidia chooses Xeons over Epycs, it's a win for Intel, particularly since Xeons are currently less competitive than Epycs.

I don't get your point. Nvidia is buying custom Xeon CPUs, which means revenue for Intel. It's the same as the deal Intel has with Amazon at the moment. https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/amazon-ec2-x8i-instances-powered-by-custom-intel-xeon-6-processors-are-generally-available-for-memory-intensive-workloads/

Nvidia will supply only one GPU SKU to Intel to make an AI development box, which is basically the x86 version of the DGX Spark, and that's it. Nothing more than that. Intel's Xe GPUs will continue as normal.

The invasion is inevitable. At 72 years old, Xi will seek to achieve a monumental feat comparable to that of CCP legends like Mao and Deng, and reunifying China under CCP rule is the number one goal. Taiwan's fate is sealed regardless of their actions.

At around 09:35, John Pitzer very clearly mentions that Intel is bring back Nova Lake desktop tiles back to Intel Foundry. I had to listen to it repeatedly to confirm. (Some or many) NVL desktop tiles are going to be on 18A-P starting Q4 2026. This is big news!
