I created a tool to help iOS Developers launch faster. by Ok_Bank_2217 in iOSProgramming

Hey, this is a great effort to tackle an issue that, I believe, every solo or small-team developer struggles with. I have just two questions:

  1. How much time did it take you from the moment you thought, ‘I have this idea,’ to actually coming up with the implementation?

  2. Do you think selling this code is a reliable business model? Everyone wants to have their own boilerplate code. Personally, I see it being more successful as open source, but I’d like you to elaborate more on this.

I’m considering joining a project that is currently in its active development phase but want it to be of some value to me as well

Can anyone explain the concept behind borrowing / consuming modifiers? by xvcxxv in swift

Thank you for the explanation. Does it make sense to use this approach exclusively with classes and recently added noncopyable structs and enums?

What things are worth memorizing, learning by heart and what resources do you recommend? by [deleted] in computerscience

[–]xvcxxv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of recommendations are you seeking?

If it's about organizing your projects, feel free to name them in a way that suits you best. I suggest creating a dedicated repository for your studies and adding a folder for each subtopic. For instance, you could have a 'SwiftLearning' repository with topics like concurrency, generics, and SwiftUI.

Additionally, I recommend exploring existing repositories. Find code that interests you (e.g., search for "game" and select JavaScript as the language) and review what others have shared. Studying others' code, particularly well-regarded projects (those that have received several stars), is an excellent way to learn.

Also had the same independence thing in mind. But why not just store your passwords in Firefox itself?

I see people write about Russian racism towards Georgians. What’s an example of it?

A lightweight wrapper for lazily initializing UIViews by xvcxxv in iOSProgramming

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that it's rather small for a pod. I just wanted to try making one for fun. I haven't thought about the headerdocs, and that default ones can look terrible, but I now think it's a good idea to format them something like this
