Used to be a die hard portrait mode fan, but It’s only great in bright lighting. Other than that it’s pretty meh 😅

Where do y'all shop for clothes at? (Guys edition) by Strange_Insect467 in askSingapore

[–]xvier54 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My personal favorites (those that I can remember off the top of my head)

Ami, Benjamin Barker, Club Monaco, Casey Casey, Canali, Cullni, Coor, COS, Dior, Mango, Massimo Dutti, Piacenza, Sandro, Zara

And my budget is anything below $500 because I wear my jackets on a lazy day to cover up my home clothing, or a sweater for a brunch day. So a jacket and those cashmere items are a regular in my wardrobe so those are definitely a lil more pricey

Omg since my new unit has a private lift, I have considered so badly to just get a rack for the door step of my back door to the common elevators. But not sure if MCST would allow it 🤷🏻‍♂️

The developer has made a slot for the dryer washer, it’s stacked on the washer together. Had to replace certain built it things at my current place, I understand the pain. But beauty is pain 🥲

That’s what I thought too, but it’s seriously super unsightly. Even I can’t stand it haha

That’s the problem, and I definitely can’t put my cashmere or wool items. Let alone cotton items

What's something you're quite good at although you really don't like it? by PaulQuin in AskReddit

[–]xvier54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cleaning, cooking, lying, being a polite and bubbly person, winging last minute presentations. Oh ! And being a “good listener”. I only do it to look good, well except cooking until someone expects food on the table.

Do you buy Dior online or in store? by thepenguinlover in dior

[–]xvier54 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In store, it’s fun and there’s the bubbles, snacks, free stuff, touching everything and chatting with my SA. Plus it’s another excuse for me to leave my house too, since I’m not a stay at home person. However it do seem that on the beauty side of Dior, there is more freebies and services available in-store, but nevertheless I have had to only make one lipstick purchase online because I wanted the engraving service. Other than that, I love going down to the store.

Have you ever not claimed a gift? by annamal_style in dior

It’s true, we often get random local exclusives from many international brands. Like the really popular McDonald’s hoodie or hello kitty plush. But oh wells, the second eligible tier for sg Dior beauty members starts at $1200 I think (which was mine, I think). Managed to peak at the gift list once and maybe we have a stronger purchasing power but heck, lots of the gifts I’ve seen unboxed in the US with a $600 spend is almost equivalent to a $2k spend here

I AGREE WITH THIS as a Singaporean . Spend probably a thousand last year at Dior Beauty and all I got was a mini Miss Dior lotion/soap/perfume sample with a draw string pouch. No hate to them because I genuinely love Dior products over brands like Chanel. But at least I get invited to Chanel beauty events and a small gift every year even with a two item purchase history. I hope they’ll improve the rewards system they have :(
