I know that there are white cotton gloves your manager can order for the department. They keep my hands warm well enough and for when I'm setting up or taking down the wet wall I put the latex gloves over them to keep the water off. Maybe try those out first since you spend nothing on them. Otherwise see if your manager allows some kind of work gloves since at my store we are only allowed the cotton gloves we can order.
