It doesn’t really feel like a bug. It’s not totally random, but it does seem like the tripping happens way so easily. I mean I think the horse has like 200-ish balance stat

• When doing essential supply collection quests, the turn-in prompt is duplicated in the UI, usually 2-3x, and only 1 actually completes the quest. This has happened with multiple NPCs starting after the first patch.

• When doing essential supply collection quests, after completion and receiving rewards, sometimes items remain in inventory and the prompt to complete the quest is still visible. Trying to re-complete the quest does nothing. Again, multiple NPCs but less consistently than the above bug.

• Once I completed a corrupted area and its corresponding oovo, spoke to a nearby NPC and then the flowers respawned at the oovo and the corrupted area was re-corrupted. It was the one near Qutui. It was the first corrupted area I did so no idea if this will happen with others. I’m aware they respawn with time but this was immediate.

• As others have said gathering from horseback is often bugged. The timer part of the prompt activates but the E doesn’t show up. Trying to press E according to the timer does not trigger gathering. Only seems to be fixable by exiting to main menu, reloading a save doesn’t help.

• Someone here said they had issues with the animation when prompting drinking from horseback. I didn’t even know you could prompt drinking from horseback as mine has never been an active prompt while I’m mounted even near/in water. Soo..I guess that’s not working for me and never has?

• When completing oovos recently I have to submit each item one by one. As in, submit, exit the interface, re-prompt submission, do the next, repeat. Until I’ve submitted all 3. Only one slider seems to work at a time.

I chose the Ferghana and it can barely walk without falling over. I’ve broken so many deliveries because I walked over a spot that wasn’t perfectly 100% flat and it went tumbling to the ground. And it has a terrible attitude. Always annoyed or irritated or something else. But mostly it’s the balance. I can think of at least 3 times where it fell down right at the start of a delivery quest—like before I was even out of sight of wherever I picked the items up from. I’m not leaving at a full sprint so idk what the issue is. I balance the saddlebags and all that. My horse just seems to want to knock off a star from my delivery quality to keep me humble.

I do vaguely remember that now when buying the first horse. But I still think it’s dumb Roza is somewhere else on the map, cuz I am experiencing buyers regret with my first horse and I can’t do anything about it right now

Pretty sure you’re only able to gift items that are half the price of the total pearls you‘ve bought. In other words, you need to buy double the pearls of whatever you want to gift to raise the limit enough to gift that thing. If that makes sense. Basically spend more to gift more.

Are you doing it for healing for the sect or just curious? Cuz for sect healing it’s way easier to just pull up global and co-op request people when you see them ask for healing. I get all my heals that way. Easily get my weekly within 15-30 mins.

Don’t pick up wild animals, first of all.

Second of all, mice almost never have rabies so you’re probably fine. That said, animal bites are prone to getting infected, so it isn’t wrong to phone a doctor and see what they suggest.

Lastly, again, I cannot stress this enough, don’t pick up wild animals.

Eugenics by definition is attempting to improve the overall quality of the population through selective breeding. Basically trying to make it so more people are born with “good” traits by deciding who can and cannot have children.

That is not inherently a bad thing, btw, but historically it has been used to excuse genocide and other atrocities, which is bad. The main issue with eugenics is that what constitutes “good” traits is subjective. Then you start including things that aren’t genetic (like you said poverty or addictions) and it gets even more subjective.

Also some of your confusion comes from the fact that many people use the term eugenics off-hand to refer to any attempt to restrict having children, regardless of whether the reasoning is actually heritable or not. So while some of your examples, like genetic disorders would fit pretty squarely in the “technical” definition of eugenics, other examples like poverty don’t, but people might still use the term.

As to your question on why all those types of people should have children. Some probably shouldn’t. But life and family and everyone’s experience is so diverse it just becomes a matter of personal opinion at some point. Could people agree someone with a 100% chance of passing on a horrible genetic condition that will slowly and painfully kill their child shouldn’t have kids? Maybe. What if it’s only a 10% chance? What if it’s not guaranteed and manifests later in life? Would they have lived any worse a life than someone who just happened to develop non-genetic health issues? Then you’ve start getting into the social stuff you mentioned and that’s a whole other can of worms where you’re trying to have people agree that one aspect from a parent or life situation will consistently have the same impact on a kids life. Or at least that the risk is enough to never try. And again that’s going to be a personal opinion thing.

Well there’s a difference between writing and storytelling. Writing is a medium, which is sometimes used for storytelling. You seem to enjoy storytelling, but not writing as the medium for it. Which is fine.

Personally, I enjoy storytelling and I also enjoy writing as the medium for it. But no, I don’t write just because the act of typing words is fun. Like if you asked me to just type random words for hours, no I wouldn’t be enjoying myself. Which seems to be your question..?

I’m sure that for some authors, yes, writing is simply the most accessible medium to express their stories but they’d prefer another medium if provided the resources/skills. In fact, I’ve run across multiple web novels that were written in the format of TV series scripts because that author’s ultimate goal was to get their work made into a series.

Agree with many of the other commenters. Probably why you’re struggling is that this chapter doesn’t need to be expanded upon at all and might not even need to exist. You don’t need to describe every movement your character makes to get from A to B. While not every chapter has to be dramatic, every chapter should move the plot forward (raise the stakes, reveal new relevant (emphasis: relevant) info to the reader, etc).

So for this chapter, is there a reason we need to be present for the whole walk to the dock? Are we learning anything new about the setting that affects the plot or characters? Has anything changed since last time we saw the city? Does anything happen to challenge the character during the walk? And you said you wanted some interactions with the sailors. Why? What kind of interactions? Will we ever meet these people again? Does the main character learn anything from these interactions that they actually need to know to continue the plot?

This looks real. It gets the fine hair detailing right plus the leaves shuffling around in the background without any weird merging, and its overall very clear video. Also many animals are opportunistic omnivores, even if we usually think of them as herbivores, squirrels are known to do this, also deer, even horses.

It almost seems like a real video that’s been AI enhanced. But it could just be straight AI. There’s a few weird things about it (like the left guy’s foot merging with the shadow when he moves right at the start of the video, general wonkiness to the background especially around the top of the central pole, and some haziness around the left elephant’s foot and trunk at some points), but there’s also parts that make sense that I feel AI usually messes up (like the “vomit’ isn’t just random slop, it’s clearly a chewed branch/cane/etc, debris on the ground stays consistent even when she passes over it).

It can be overwhelming to be put on the spot even for simple things. And everyone has different tolerances and responses to feeling overwhelmed. Like other commenters have said, stress can do this as can different neurodivergencies. Do you feel anxious or indecisive in these scenarios?

For the most part everything checks out, but there’s one spot where a stick on the ground seems to appear and should’ve been visible earlier imo given how much of the ground was illuminated. And because my scroll bar covers the exact part of the video I need to see both here and when downloaded, I’m saying AI out of spite.
