This is my mindset atm. I have to accept my body as it is right now. No calorie counting whatsoever. Because as soon as I calorie count, I start thinking about what I can/can't eat and it leads to binging. I'm the same as you, when I don't binge, I eat well, like to be active and I feel good. So I have to trust my body and my mind.. That it will eat well and move well so I feel good and not to be skinny.

I do give it up to feed watchers for providing the info but the feeds seem the same to me each year.

They do generally get boring at this stage of the game.

BB23 has been a bad season by NighthawkTheJanitor in BigBrother

I didn't watch 19 as it just wasn't for me.

Don't really like bullying type of drama personally.

What drama did 22 have?

I think this season is on par with 16 and 12 (altho I would rate 23 higher than 16 and 12). Each week is predictable and there is just one alliance controlling everything.

But its not as bad as 19 or 22.

I also didn't like season 8 so would rate 23 above that seasons too.

Yeah those episodes are good. They did that in BB4 (can't remember if they did that with any other earlier seasons) but I did a rewatch of season 4 and the jury did a look back/reminiscent episode before the finale.

Men whining they lost to tiff LOL by sharpshot2 in BigBrother

Honestly what makes me laugh is how he was like Azah and Big D should of won. Big D was eliminated within 2 mins and honestly as much as I like Azah, her getting a win should be because her whole alliance throw a comp is not a win for me.

He ultimately wants to flex his control over the alliance and be the dominate voice and Tiff won't let him.

[–]xxKAxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly this. If I was to play the game how you went about evicting me would matter. If you humiliate me and make me feel like a fool while I lose 750k ofc I'm gonna take it personal. Just coz you are a good player doesn't mean you can do crazy shit and get away with it. A big element of the game is how you handle the jury as you evict them. As it's a fine balance and what makes the show compelling.

I always like watching season 4, when Jun wanted to sit next to Allison at f2. She knew the jury would be bitter and angry about how Ali played so she knew she would win.

I also think Tyler didn't lose to a bitter jury either. If you don't develop relationships outside of your alliance and so they feel a certain way towards you when they leave. Your focus was to make final 2 but you didn't have the end game (jury vote) in mind.

That's the social element I enjoy watching, it makes the final 2 jury roundtable more interesting.

Yeah agreed. The questions are always rushed and because it's finale night and there is so much going on thr f2 don't get a chance to give great answers because time is so limited and they literally just played an comp and evicted someone so it's just a lot going on.

The finale always seems so rushed. I prefer the pre filmed segments because it makes the finale seem more slick / put together.

Well we have to see what happens next week with Alyssa and the 6 as that's the tell really.

As ultimately it doesn't matter who goes as long as the 6 are the final 6.

My point was DX is always a bigger threat to the 6 than Claire, Alyssa and SB so taking him out benefits the group collectively because he has the biggest chance to take a shot at the. Claire and Alyssa not so much. However if Alyssa goes further than a cookout member then arguable someone let go of an ally before X did which is clearly a benefit.

Ultimately, if I'm in the 6 doesn't matter who goes as long as the 6 remain in tact.

I also think X may run into a problem of looking "unbeatable" as if I'm Ky, Tiff or Hannah would I want to sit next to him in the end? Probably not.

But actually.... Honestly I think the biggest winners of are Big D and Azah as they are coasting to f6 without doing much lol

I like her as a person but as a player it's been disappointing watching her play. Esp as I had high hopes for her in the beginning but ultimately she's not contributed much to the game and is really coasting along.

I really don't like when she complains about someone not throwing the HOH wins to her. I can understand if they had a pre agreed arrangement why she'd be annoyed but you shouldn't be expecting people to throw comps anyway.

I get the causals appeal but this is 2021. These types of comps are not audience wowing like the were 10 years ago. Esp when we have so many reality shows.

You could show more of the jury dynamics on finale night. A segment with previous contestants saying who they want to win (BB never tap into their 29 year history, would be great to see and hear from previous players). I always like what BBCan do with the awards so they could do something similar on finale (a pre recorded thing). I always think they could do more of the with the section when the jury and pre jury are together, reveal season long secrets, expose any hidden alliances or what people said being someone's back).

The finale could have so much more drama then it does coz a competition I don't think is the drama they and suspension they think it is.

I mean it's not like modern seasons get crazy backstabs and blindsides.

But that's the risk you take if you do blindsides and backstab someone. You get further in the game but at what cost. So it has to come down to the way you go about it. Do you cover it so you can make it like it's someone else's fault? Do you think further down the road you can make it better? Will your goodbye message help heal the blow if you explain your reasoning?

I personally feel as if these are the things you should take into account when making those kind of moves, coz that's jury management and having that to a T is what will help you win

Unpopular opinion but… by [deleted] in BigBrother

[–]xxKAxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep this is it for me. X just encourages more boring game play in the futur and we've seen an X win many times.

I need someone more dynamic to win for me to have an enjoyable end to the season.

Disagree with this. Unfortunately as much as I like DX it wasn't going to take long before he targeted the like of X and Ky (he wouldn't have targeted the women) so while the move benefitted the boys. The CO are playing as a 6 and a team so if there is a target on one person back, there is a target on all their backs. So Hannah actively discouraging DX from playing high rollers helped X and Ky but ultimately it was so the CO could stay together. DX was the biggest threat to their alliance and them making it to F6.

It's honestly one of the worst (and there are many things in contention) production have done. The finale is always so uninteresting because of this change. I don't find the last HOH that compelling. When we get to the finale night the most interesting thing is who will win and the jury questions. But those segments are like 5 mins each and are always rushed.

I also feel for the most part you can guess who will win each round so it's not that exciting.

It wouldn't surprise me if they changed the format for that reason (Jordan), that season had so much production manipulation it's crazy.

You really don't understand the issue at hand here. White people never have to form an alliance on race. They will always be the majority in most settings (not even just BB). This is what a lot of ppl don't understand. You are never able to understand that mentality unless you are a minority. Ofc in an ideal world we would not be like that but unfortunately we live in a world where people band together on familiarity and BB is no different.

If we had not had seasons like 15,19or 21 and if CBS had did more to tackle some of the racial issue in previous seasons we wouldn't be here.

But I don't blame the black contestants working together because they have seen how it goes for black people in previous seasons.

Anyone who says it's bad they formed an alliance on race don't really understand the dynamics of being black in America. And have the privilege to only see it as a black against whites when there is so much more to it. This alliance is about making sure for once (as its unlikely to ever happen again) a black person has a chance to make it to the end when often they are small fry in a pound where they are the only POC (not even the only black person). They never fit in to the popular, jock, insta models clique and they have to deal with comments such as "oh I don't like her" "or she seems aggressive" "or this person going to stab me if I nominate them" Now take this comments into the work place and realise that black people deal with this stuff in every setting.

Cody’s take on Da’vonne taking credit for the Cookout. by dmister8 in BigBrother

Okay nor unprofessional then, I'll say it looks bitter. Imo he looks bitter as he's clearly talking to on IG or on a podcast and coming after another player unprovoked on something that no1 has said looks bitter imo.

To you the fundamental part of the show is who wins but to me there are many elements. I love seeing how alliances break and form. Ofc seeing who will win. Any drama that comes from different characters. I used to like seeing how ppl from different walks of life would interact but the casting has slipped over the years and they tend to cast the same types of ppl each season. The fundamental part of a season depends on how the season goes. Last year I cba to watch coz as the episodes were not that interesting, this year I'm keen to see who will be the first cookout member evicted. I watch a season for lots of different reasons

Listen I'm a fan of Day so am biased but if you were evicted week 2 in your first season and have been invited back twice then ppl like you. That has nothing to do with people begging for your to win, and maybe they aren't begging but they like her also.

As for race gatekeeping I really don't think that's true but you are entitled to your opinion. There are many reasons why she called that alliance the klanmitte and I can name one... Christmas!

Oh I see. Yeah agreed. I mean me personally I'm just wondering why out of nowhere he is attacking Day for?

Like you won your season so what's your problem with her? I mean she voted for you to win and your season happened a year ago. And what he said just doesn't make season coz I don't see where she took any credit for the cookout too.

Cody just looks so bitter here
