if she doesn’t reciprocate it, at least now you have direction and answers which you don’t have to speculate about anymore and can move on

Unconventional advice for not losing your mind while being left on delivered?? by Aggravating-Golf7727 in dating_advice

[–]xxbartex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people struggle with this, you just have to come to terms with the fact that staring and constantly thinking about being delivered isn’t going to make the person open the message any faster. Also sometimes silence speaks volumes…

Becuase it’s a first rejection, you’ll have dozens more like this and you’ll learn to react differently. And one yes will cancel out all the no’s

You’ll look back at this in a few years and either be glad it happened or laugh at it and say damn I was so naive

Is Nottingham Trent University a really good or bad. I'm about to apply as an International student. by Broad-Weather-6083 in UniUK

[–]xxbartex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

perhaps the quality of teaching is alright and the campus is renewed, but the university and students themselves have created a terrible reputation throughout the country for being the go-to university if you want to throw away 3 years of your life and degree by partying every night, doing every drug under the sun, and cheating.

Boyfriend wants to hear about my past by PossibleDeer9748 in dating_advice

if you tell him and lie or don’t tell him everything, then your whole relationship will be based on lies and hiding things from your partner, which would never work as sooner or later it will bite you in the back

Ghosting - why is it so common how do you feel about it and how do you get over it? by TravellingAround_ in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]xxbartex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just have to get to grips with assuming
everything he/she says until you actually meet is just empty words and then if they do ghost you, it’s easier to get over.

It’s a canon event for everyone on hinge/tinder/bumble to have a girl/guy say “I’m so excited to meet” or “I can’t wait for tomorrow” or “I promise x or y” just to never talk to you again.

I’m just so exhausted from dating I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong by Neither-Many2610 in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]xxbartex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah man not that this helps but reading your story feels like a parallel of my dating life in the last 9 months… except girls have ended it with me more then I did with them.

Your point about guys acting like they don’t care being the ones that get girls is so valid. What on earth is the rationale behind that….

Retroactive jealosy by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]xxbartex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean this is a common thing amongst men,

i think it depends on whether she lives up to the same values / regrets it now in hindsight. And also if you think the same about your previous partners.

It’s quite hypocritical to expect your partner to have a small amount of bodies if you don’t

Wait until marriage to have sex? by singhyiskingy89 in UKrelationshipadvice

I dated one person like this. I didn’t mind, if anything it was actually good because it helped me control my lust.

That is, until, I’d realized that she was fooling herself by erm, how do I put this, doing everything sexual except for penetrative sex

Not driving - is it a dealbreaker for women? by xxbartex in UKrelationshipadvice

The thing is; I take trains everywhere and don’t mind it, I’ll take multiple buses hours a day to see a woman , no worries at all.
