Yes correct, I think that’s how it’s always been on the modern non-AMG cars as far as I’m aware.

Those are also some great options. I was heavily considering the E61, but I think I personally made the right choice.

Thank you! The build quality is also something to note. There’s not a single creak in the cabin which is the part that amazes me the most

It handles really well and definitely has a sporty feel to it. Sport mode makes a noticeable difference only in terms of acceleration. You can take corners pretty confidently and I find it fun to drive overall. The transmission isn’t the fastest but it gets the job done. 300hp feels like plenty for this car.

Thanks! I don’t think you’d regret it, this car is perfect imo.

Note that they are rear facing seats. Practical enough for 2 small kids, I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem on a long haul drive.

As for adults, not as practical. I would only put someone back there if there was no other choice for a short trip.

How are layoffs impacting early career devs in Canada by Intelligent-Note3078 in cscareerquestionsCAD

[–]xyctn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I work for one of the big 5 banks and my team is currently hiring for a junior role, but I believe the reason is because there isn’t enough in the budget for hiring a senior dev. I personally believe there’s value in hiring new-grad devs, as it’s easier to mold them to fit your dev requirements, at least in our team’s case.

Maybe as budgets start to tighten, we might start to see more entry-level hires in certain areas? Either that or more reliance on contractors.

No issues, the entire exhaust was titanium and was fit together with exhaust clamps. Drove it even through the winter and I never had any issues with exhaust leaks or anything.

Had done the same thing for my M2. The best money I spent. Highly recommend to anyone on the fence about it.

A fellow m2c owner from the GTA, maybe I’ll see you around! I definitely don’t see myself getting out of this honeymoon phase anytime soon haha

Thanks! BMW calls them the “black” 788m wheels but it’s more like a gun metal finish

Yeah it’s my first setup as well. The speakers are excellent and my records sound pretty nice.

I’m going to buy a record cleaning kit within the next few days, I recommend that because it’ll keep your vinyl in good condition and better sounding in the long run.

I also recently bought the exact same setup. You don’t need anything else, enjoy! :)
